That is insane.
Over 2,000 games? He must be stinking rich (I don't think they are, they are only a 1080P gamer.) or just doesn't like to spend money on lifes necessity's.

Looks like Steam is down again...

Lords of the Fallen doesn’t aim to startle players with an all-new style of gameplay, with developer Deck 13 instead hoping to harvest the most successful parts from other titles in one package.
Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics vanished from digital distributors over the holidays thanks to licensing agreement changes, but rights holder Bethesda is on the case. Writing on Twitter, the publisher said its working to get the games onto Steam and will update when possible; responding to a fan query about GOG, it said only that Steam is its priority right now.
League of Legends developer Riot Games doesn’t focus on revenue metrics, preferring to believe that if it builds a great game, money will just turn up, according to president and co-founder Marc Merrill.
If you applied for a place in the Project Spark beta before June 24 2013, check your inbox and spam box; Microsoft has issued 10,000 Windows 8 beta keys. The free game-making suite is headed to Xbox 360 and Xbox One in addition to Windows 8 devices, but has not yet been dated.
Titanfall isn’t going to release with mod support, but Respawn Entertainment hasn’t ruled out the possibility.
Europa Universalis 4: Conquest of Paradise, which adds a “completely randomized American continent” along with Colonial and Native American Nations, will arrive on PC, Mac, and Linux on January 14. To hold you over until its release, Paradox Interactive has released two videos: a pre-order trailer and a dev-diary highlighting the Colonial States. Enjoy. Thanks, Evil Avatar.
Carmageddon: Reincarnation has a new video available showing alpha footage of the suspension technology. The game is slated for a Q1 release on Steam through the Early Access program. It will release with a number of unspecified cars, levels, and game modes, which will be supplemented via updates. Carmageddon: Reincarnation was successfully funded on Kickstarter in June 2012.
It’s hard not to get excited about a new year of of PC gaming, but 2014 is notable. PC games have been changing, and this year will be no different. MOBAs are massive now, singleplayer and multiplayer are no longer considered mutually exclusive, and a whole batch of Kickstarter babies are due to be born. Not only that, but with the “next-gen” of consoles now here, developers are free from the shackles of almost decade-old hardware, free to work with machines much closer to the PC when crafting multiplatform games.
From the mists of the future, we’ve picked a selection of titles that we believe are going to stand tall in 2014. It goes without saying that we think these games will be good, but we also consider these games important. These are the games that will carve out new pathways and set trends in the PC sphere that will become commonplace in years to come.
Cerebral adventure RPG To the Moon has been updated with a spot of free DLC, in the form of a holiday special minisode. Doctors Watts and Rosalene return in this 20 minute caper; one you're meant to finish in a single sitting. There's no saving, no menus - it's just a short, lighthearted tale set in Sigmund Corp. over the holiday season.
You can download it directly from the Freebird Games site, but a Steam patch should have already added it to your game folder, where you can select it manually and take it for a spin. To the Moon was lovely, and free DLC - even if it's only a morsel - is also lovely, so everything's lovely. Lovely.
Titanfall’s mechs don’t just sell the game as something new, though they definitely do that. And its footsoldiers don’t just ping off walls like so many self-destructive YouTube free-runners, thought they certainly do that compellingly enough. No: the changes the former Infinity Ward staffers at Respawn have introduced to the CoD formula run through Titanfall like a stick of rock, rendering old playstyles useless.
Sniping? “A different animal”. Quick scoping? No-scoping? “Ineffective”.
Indie studio ‘Messhof’ released a new trailer today for its side-scrolling sword-’em-up Nidhogg. Nidhogg will be coming to Steam on January 13th and promises to hook you up with its retro visuals and its “sword-ish” gameplay. This game is focused on tournaments and is focused on multiplayer. It looks weird and fun. Enjoy! Continue reading

A few years ago, I saw a doc about Japan and a new kind of ... I don't know how to call it, let's say "disorder", that made young Japanese to never, ever get out of his/her rooms. It was weird.
Maybe he's one of those.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft developer Blizzard Entertainment has delayed the game’s second beta test season to ensure the smoothest transition and quality possible.
Battlefield 4 developer DICE has confirmed that its next double XP Premium event will take place today, following a slight delay out of December.
DERP, the hacker group behind DDoS attacks on Steam, Origin, Battle.net and League of Legends has apparently pranked YouTube personality and prominent Twitch streamer PhantomL0rd, faking a hostage situation at his address and getting his home raided in the process.
Nvidia is hosting a livestream at CES this weekend, that will focus on its Tegra mobile tech, gaming hardware and more.
Dragon Age: Inquisition might sounds like a fantasy take on Mass Effect 3 – what with trying to rally all the world’s warring factions to take down a single threat and all that – but BioWare producer Cameron Lee has explained why it’s not all that similar, along with insight into the game’s morality, classes and much more.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will include a keep-building mechanic that sees players capturing and maintaining strongholds across the world to unlock new quests. The system has been detailed in a new preview today.
Bugbear has announced Next Car Game has “reached and topped” the developer’s original campaign funding goal in just a week after the availability of Early Access through pre-orders.
CCP CEO Hilmar Pétursson lives and works in Iceland. Eve Valkyrie, his studio’s latest project, is in the works in Newcastle. That doesn’t necessarily make him the best person to tell you about the day-to-day twists and turns of development - but he is distant enough to judge the effects of its 3D virtual reality for nausea. And he’s confident that the dogfighting spectacular won’t need to be bundled with a wastepaper basket on release.
Find yourself spoilt for choice in New Year’s resolutions? Sometimes it can be easier to start again in a new town with a new handle. As of today, you’ll be able to change your StarCraft II character name for free, shedding your old reputation like you won’t last year’s weight.
12:01am PST this afternoon brings more than that, though: an updated map pool featuring five new competitive battlegrounds. Which, of course, means five old favourites must be taken away.
