I may have played about half a dozen of those 50 games, and owned even less.

As a PC gamer I'm an horrible one .

Hey you're not the only one lol, I've still got my backlog to go through but at the same time I find myself playing the same few games now and then, mostly due to lack of more free time to really settle down with a nice long game.

Skimmed through the list - it seems, apart from most online games (which I generally stay away from), I played almost all of them - which says a lot about my age and my gaming/buying/pirating habits in 80s/90s. ;)

Not a bad list, though some things like MS Flight Simulator and Prince of Persia should definitelly be in their and not in honorable mentions, given how much each was important in differnet ways for computer gaming.

That's a relief. And of course I also have favorites that I go back to every now and then.

My excuse (or at least the one no one can refute) is that I didn't have a PC until the mid-late 90s, and I didn't had one capable of playing games until even later, it was a pre-build computer with a P4 and an ATI 9250 and it didn't take long until it became outdated.

NEW KNUCKLE SANDWICH TRAILER HAS A CYCLOPS RUNNING A PUPPY STORE

http://www.pcgamer.com/new-knuckle-sandwich-trailer-has-a-cyclops-running-a-puppy-store/

I've always thought most RPGs would be better off with a cyclops running a puppy store, and in that regard, Knuckle Sandwich clearly delivers. Knuckle Sandwich is a very strange looking RPG, and one of my most anticipated indie games of this year ever since I got to play its demo/prequel Tarantula last August. We saw its first trailer back in October, and Shaun called it one of the most promising Australian games at PAX AU, but now we're getting a longer look at the actual gameplay of Knuckle Sandwich.

http://www.pcgamer.com/darkest-dungeon-launches-this-week-so-heres-a-new-trailer/

Most PC owners keen to play Darkest Dungeon have done so already: it's been in Early Access for over a year now, and it's one of the best supported titles operating under that scheme. Still, if you're the type to hold off until a game is officially complete, then Darkest Dungeon releases officially tomorrow. The trailer above has arrived to remind us of this fact.

THE WINNER OF THIS FAR CRY PRIMAL CONTEST HAS TO SLEEP IN A CAVE

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-winner-of-this-far-cry-primal-contest-has-to-sleep-in-a-cave/

Ubisoft's Far Cry Primal “CaveBnB” contest is easy to enter. Just aim a tweet at the FarCryGame account with the appropriate hashtag explaining why you want to spend a night in The Cave, and you'll be in the running. You might want to take a moment to think about whether that's really something you want to do, though. Because the winner of the contest will actually have to spend a night in The Cave.

>>There's even a video to promote the contest. The menu looks... primal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZ_SOmsjVk0

CONSORTIUM: THE TOWER IS NOW ON KICKSTARTER

http://www.pcgamer.com/consortium-the-tower-is-now-on-kickstarter/

As promised last month, the Kickstarter for the first-person “immersive simulation” Consortium: The Tower—formerly The Tower Prophecy—is now underway. The campaign is seeking $450,000 Canadian, which I'm guessing works out to around 600 bucks US (or possibly more, I haven't actually looked it up), and hints at a handful of stretch goals should it achieve funding beyond that mark.

MINECRAFT: EDUCATION EDITION ANNOUNCED

http://www.pcgamer.com/minecraft-education-edition-announced/

Minecraft has spawned a host of educational projects. All 43,000 square km of Denmark was scanned in and used to teach architecture; qCraft allowed us to visualise the strange world of quantum physics; and of course MinecraftEdu remixed the original game to give teachers lesson planning and crowd control tools. Microsoft has now purchased the latter and will be relaunching it as Minecraft: Education Edition in summer.

Really happy to see more Cities Skylines content coming out so soon since the last content was a couple of months back.

Also happy to know that I'll be able to play the new Homeworld in 24 hours and I've got a few days off work so I can give that a shot along with Dragons Dogma =D. Going to be ignoring the MGO portion of MGSV because it's riddled with micro trans and the beta was cut so short that it tells me it's going to be a crappy experience and so far for months we've not heard anything from the general online experience that has nothing to write home about.

I'm also happy to see them supporting the game, that launched almost a year ago. But we'll have to see if the price is right, because I've read complains of people saying that 15 € for After Dark is too much, and this new DLC adds what, snow, trams and ski resorts? That's not much.

Meanwhile, I think the decision I made during the last sales to wait until a "complete edition" is available has been a good one.

I hope you have fun with Homeworld and Dragons Dogma.

So after Watching TB's review on Homeworld, I;m not so sure since the AI is apparently dumb as champ and to a certain degree on the hardest mode with it also apparently cheating as well in terms of resource gathering and unit output and TB still beat it. I do hope they manage to patch and sort out the AI though because no RTS game is going to hold up if the AI is of no challenge, that and he brought up some good points, we don't know if the game will include full mod support, it has only 5 maps in total which is paltry and we don't even know what the multiplayer scene will be like.
