I already said it when those ne X3D chips were rumors, and I'll say it again: I don't get the point of those new CPUs.

The 5800X3D is already lower clocked than the non-3D part so, how much lower will the clocks of the 5700X3D be? Even worse, the 5600X3D was available in such small amount that it was only launched in one chain store in one country, yet now we have the 5500X3D? How will it work, they'll sell it in just one single store of one single country?

Don't get me wrong, I think it's better to sell those chips, if there's anyone that wants them, than throwing them away, but this kind of feels like AMD knowing that the -X3D suffix sells almost everyting that uses it and they are taking advantage of it.

Yea it makes little sense as it's coming out in 2024. Like I guess for super budget but then launching so many SKUs which I am assuming is mainly just 5800X3D with some cores disabled. Feels weird as they will be releasing 2-3 generation old chips in 2024 when they could have added more X3D to Zen 4 instead.

Indeed. AMD could easily sell a 7600X3D since they're already making it for the 7900X3D, and it would be an instant hit.

This Fallout: New Vegas Mod improves collision accuracy, fixes/optimizes meshes
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/this-fallout-new-vegas-mod-improves-collision-accuracy-fixes-optimizes-meshes/
Modder ‘Inthegrave’ has shared a pretty cool new mod for Fallout: New Vegas. According to the modder, this is a general bug fixing mod for dozens of game models across the base game and DLCs.
Going into more details, MAC-10 fixes visible holes in meshes, as well as incorrect properties that effect how the mesh looks. Plus, it optimizes meshes for better performance.
The biggest improvement that this mod brings is, in my opinion, regarding the game’s collision accuracy. With this mod, your shots will become more accurate. Plus, it stops you and the other characters from getting stuck in the environment. It’s a big improvement for a better gaming experience.

This Starfield Mod aims to overhaul the game’s enemy AI
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/starfield-mod-overhaul-enemy-ai/
Modder ‘BasedGodAce’ just made Starfield harder and more challenging with a new cool mod. This mod is all about making the enemies in the game smarter. So, if you thought Starfield was too easy, you should download this mod and give it a go.
The modder says that PEAK makes enemies work together better, allowing them to do cool moves like flanking. Additionally, the mod reduces unproductive chatter for a more immersive gameplay experience. It also makes enemies remember stuff better and makes the game harder. Oh, and it makes sneaking around better too. Basically, this mod makes the game more challenging with enemies that fight back way more than before.
Sadly, BasedGodAce didn’t show off the cool AI improvements in a video. As such, you’ll have to try it out yourselves. Just click this link to download it. The modder also gave instructions on how to install it, so make sure to read them.
>> There's no video and obviously no screenshots for this mod.

These Elden Ring Mods make the game feel more like Bloodborne
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/these-elden-ring-mods-make-the-game-feel-more-like-bloodborne/
Modder ‘Noctis’ has released two new mods for Elden Ring that attempt to make the game feel more like Bloodborne. These are two must-have mods for everyone who wants to experience Bloodborne on PC. I’m still puzzled as to why Sony has not brought this game (or Ghost of Tsushima) on PC yet. But hey, here we are.
Okay, so the first mod changes how your character rolls in the game. Instead of the regular rolling animation, it makes your character do those cool wiggly dashes from the Milkweed rune in Bloodborne. Now, the second mod switches up a bunch of other animations in the game, like how you use items, with ones from Bloodborne. So, when you use these mods, your character moves and acts more like the one in Bloodborne.
You can get the first mod from this link and the second mod from here. At the end of this article, there’s a video showing off the cool animations inspired by Bloodborne when you use items. And right below that, there’s a GIF showing the Bloodborne-style dashes.
>> The video is 1:29 and the article doesn't have the links to those mods. I hope it gets fixed that later.

Hideki Kamiya, formerly of Capcom and PlatinumGames, is now out in the world as a civilian. The legendary director is responsible for some of the best action games ever made, in particular Bayonetta, but following his departure from Platinum earlier this year (a company he co-founded) it doesn't seem like he's going to be involved much in games anymore.

One of the more memorable moments in the 2022 Game Awards came courtesy of a kid who crashed FromSoftware's acceptance of the Game of the Year award for Elden Ring. Don't expect something similar to happen in 2023, though, as TGA founder and host Geoff Keighley said during a recent Q&A livestream that "we definitely have plans" for better security at this year's event.

Bethesda's still responding to negative Starfield reviews with cheesy taglines, and at this point I just want the studio's reply brigade to log off
https://www.pcgamer.com/bethesdas-still-responding-to-negative-starfield-reviews-with-cheesy-taglines-and-at-this-point-i-just-want-the-studios-reply-brigade-to-log-off/
Just over a week ago, I talked about how Starfield was getting a beating on Steam. From where I'm sitting, it's just a result of hype not meeting expectations. It's a decent game, it's just that 'decent' is a huge problem when we were all strapped in for the next big Bethesda RPG.
One thing that genuinely bothered me, however, was seeing a Bethesda developer responding to some of those negative reviews in a half-hearted attempt at damage control. It's not inherently bad for a developer to respond to criticism—maybe not advisable, but not unheard of, especially if it's taking fair critiques into account. That's not what's happening here.

Lots of improvements but still has ways to go. Biggest concern is Intel drops support prematurely.

Linus bought a bunch of PCs from different OEMs such as dell, hp, etc. They purposefully loosened a ram stick so the pc won't boot and they put their tech support to the test. Some of the support agents and their troubleshooting steps was essh to say the least... And some had around an hour of wait time while others had support services through video.

I just bought a wireless mouse and connected it up and was like damn this feels so terrible and it was like my cursor was moving at 5fps across the screen and dropping for a few seconds here and there unless I'm like 2ft away from the PC Tower and even that close it was still a bit sluggish so I did a search on google for something along the lines of "why does Bluetooth suck on PC" and it turns out so many people had the same problem and it had the same answer of use the motherboards Wi-Fi Antenna.

I'm scratching my heading thinking heh the Wif-Fi Antenna is for Bluetooth also? huh never knew that I just threw it in a box somewhere as I will never use wireless internet on my PC and so I dug it out screwed it in the back panel and the connection is now super smooth I guess you do learn something new everyday.

Yea the wifi antenna enhances both. I found this out after my xbox controller seemed to have very short range until I connected the antenna to my motherboards wifi and boom, excellent range.
