AMD 7900XTX VRAM Issue leads to HUGE Performance LOSS! Help!

Essentially if you have a reference 7900XTX (This likely affects XT as well), and you overclock the frequency on the core, it actually downclocks the Vram frequency significantly without telling you because it's power limited. If you check the vram frequency section, you will notice that it is being downclocked but it's odd that there is no notice or anything that it does that as traditionally, the core OC shouldn't affect vram clocks. The auto-OC is also terrible. This doesn't affect AIB boards because they aren't power limited.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

X3D is AMD's last real chance to save this generation. Their CPUs are only really worth it at a deep discount and their GPUs have a lot of problems. Hopefully, it's good and most importantly, they don't put greed first over value like they did with Zen 4 launch.

https://www.pcgamer.com/support-charity-and-win-a-set-of-winter-wonderland-gaming-peripherals-by-entering-our-giveaway/
I've got a confession to make: Absolutely none of my PC peripherals match. My mouse is some kind of green, my monitor is red and black, and my keyboard is a toxic clash of colours that have never ever encountered one another in nature. It's a mess, but you don't have to make my mistake, because we've joined up with Overclockers UK, noblechairs, Endgame Gear, and Ducky to give out a set of peripherals in gleaming winter white. It's all in support of SpecialEffect, a charity that uses technology to help people with physical challenges enjoy games and improve their quality of life.
We're giving away a full kit: The winner will get their hands on a noblechairs LEGEND gaming chair, a Ducky One 3 Classic keyboard, plus an XSTRM RGB mic and XM1-RGB mouse from Endgame Gear. They're all in Winter Wonderland white, so not only will your dinner guests never mock you for the garish hues on your desk, you'll be seasonally appropriate, too.

Iron Galaxy has released the fourth update for the PC version of UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection that fixes absolutely nothing.
When Sony announced that Iron Galaxy would be handling the PC version of UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection, I was a bit worried. Iron Galaxy was the team behind Batman: Arkham Knight, and we all know how that went. Still, I was willing to give the team the benefit of doubt. However, and after how it treated UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection PC, I can wholeheartedly say that I’m hugely disappointed by it.

The US Federal Trade Commission has reached agreements with Epic Games that will see the videogame giant pay a total of $520 million in penalties and refunds, following allegations that the company violated the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and used dark patterns (UI design tricks meant to fool users) to dupe players into purchases.

FIFA 23 predicted the winner of the world cup in November
https://www.pcgamer.com/fifa-23-predicted-the-winner-of-the-world-cup-in-november/
Back on November 10, EA Sports posted about a recurring piece of fun with the FIFA series: using the current entry, in this case FIFA 23, to predict the outcome of the Qatar world cup. The actual event ended this past Sunday with Argentina versus France, and ended up delivering a final that will go down as one of the greats. After extra time the score was 3-3, and ultimately the trophy went to Argentina on penalties.
Well: FIFA 23 got it right. Not every result in the tournament, of course, but it predicted that the eventual winner of this world cup would be Argentina. It further predicted that this triumph would be spearheaded by Lionel Messi with eight goals (Messi scored seven in the real thing). It even correctly predicted that Argentina's Emiliano Martínez would scoop the golden glove as the tournament's best keeper.

Is it, tho? From the article:

"According to this listing, the next-gen CPU series would be 24% to 27% pricier than the predecessor. Although this seems like a massive increase, one must mention that the i5-13400 should end up significantly faster than the Alder Lake version. This is mainly due to increase in core count from 6 to 10, or more precisely the enablement of 4 Efficient cores on the die itself.

Some early leaks have shown that i5-13400 could end up 28% faster than 12400 in multi-core test. At the same time, only 7% increase can be observed in synthetic benchmarks for single-threaded workloads."

You're roughly paying 1% more for each 1% more performance in multithreaded situations, and a negative result in single threaded ones. It brings no better value than a 12400 and, like the 4080 vs 3080, it shows stagnation.

Yea that's true. I didn't look at it that way so good point.

Only 7% increase for the performance cores seems too low? Wasn't there a promise of 30% uplift?
