Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

NVIDIA & AMD GPU Prices Expected To Fall Further By End of August, Green Team To Issue Aggressive Cuts To Clear Inventory

JayzShatSense continues to get rekt

As the new cards launch come closer and closer, Nvidia, AMD, the AIB partners and even the stores will get more and more desperate to get rid of all the extra stock they have.

Also, hopefully the batch of price cuts will also include their mid and low end cards, but I'm not counting on it.

ASRock Is First To Bring Intel’s Arc A380 Graphics Card To The US For A Great Entry-Level Price of $139 US

I wouldn't have minded getting one to test it out if they had the drivers be bug free. But I'd rather not reinstall Windows everytime it shits the bed. With 6400 being only $10 more, don't think it will sell much either

As we said a few times already, too little, too late. Better luck next time, Intel.

Worrying, to a degree, rumors about Sony's future on PC:

PlayStation PC Launcher May be in the Works According to Spider-Man Dataminers
https://wccftech.com/playstation-pc-launcher-spider-man-datamine/

Sony has been making major moves into the PC space recently, and until now, they’ve largely avoided some of the cumbersome requirements some other big publishers have placed on the experience. PlayStation games are simply released on Steam and the Epic Games Store, with no extra accounts or sign-ups required. Well, it seems that may be changing.

There have been hints Sony may require a PlayStation Network account to play their games on PC in the future, and that may just be the beginning. Dataminers digging around the recently-released PC version of Spider-Man have discovered references to a “PlayStation PC Launcher.” The reliable folks at Video Games Chronicle have confirmed these references are in the game.

So, if the PlayStation PC Launcher ends up being the real deal, what might this mean for Sony’s PC games going forward? Probably the most likely scenario is that Sony would do what Microsoft does, offering their games through their own store and launcher, but also putting most of them on Steam and Epic as well. Then again, Sony is used to owning the platform they release their games on – maybe they’re getting tired of having to surrender a cut to Valve and Epic. We shall see.

Yea it's gonna happen one way or another. My question is whether or not they will take the MS approach or EGS approach. If they take the MS approach where they still release their games on steam but you can sync your PS+ account with the Playstation launcher and be able to play those games on PC... Then I don't mind.

But if they make games fully exclusive to the launcher, then I'll cringe.

I think that, if they make a launcher and turn their games exclusive to that launcher, they'll learn a valuable lesson.

They don't have as much leverage as you think a most of their games have already launched and the two that haven't launched yet, are announced for Steam. Given that those that have bought them will always have them on Steam, or EGS, then their only leverage is the games not announced yet, and since we don't know what games those may be, the leverage they have now is zero.

Besides that, there's another reason to stop Sony in its tracks: if they succeed, MSoft will try it again. And MSfot does have a lot more exclusive games that appeal the PC audience.

In any case, let's not get ahead of ourselves and let's see what this is all about. For all we know, it could be a launcher to link us to their Playstation Network so we have our achievements sorry, trophies there to share with other Playstation member that game on console.

I won't be buying their games going forward if they require me to install yet another launcher to launch their games from Steam, or if they decide to make as storefront that requires me to install it to again, launch my games from Steam.

Just do what MS does and only require an MS login when you want to play online via Steam, that's what I've been happy with for years and that's about what I'm comfortable with. If they require a launcher and a sign-in, then it'll make for a worst case scenario and a lesson not learned from others.
