If I had to guess, they are selling Arc in volumes to internet cafes and such at big discounts. I highly doubt consumers even in those regions are buying it outside of reviewers.

^Makes sense. They sell their Nvidia and AMD cards they bought for mining and replace them with cheap Intel cards until the new GPUs launch and the mining craze comes back.

PC has been a very important source of income for Capcom for a while now. Nothing surprising.

So far they are killing it with their PC ports out of other Jap publishers (big Hint for you to learn, SE), and combined with their IP's, it's no wonder they are doing so well on the platform.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Yea pretty much. The thing I really hate about SE is how they continue their Playstation exclusivity nonsense while many other publishers figured out that you can make more money if you treat PC gamers right. Hell SE goes the extra mile of fuck youism by making their games EGS exclusive right after they sucked off Sony for their exclusivity.

Hopefully one day, SE will learn as well since there's a lot of money to be made if you treat PC gamers right. We are no longer in the 7th gen where PC gaming felt like the forth wheel. These days, PC gaming is huge and a lot of publishers understand the formula to make people happy.

I decided to get FFVII Remake Intergrade when it launched on Steam. It has the exact same problems it did when it launched on EGS. Remake got Refunded. The so little effort SE puts into their PC releases is staggering. I have no idea why it has a 90% Very Positive rating on Steam. PC gamers are just that hungry for Square's crumbs they throw our way lol.

I doubt Kingdom Hearts will ever leave EGS at this point either.

EDIT: I still find it funny when Atlus put Persona 4 Golden on PC and it had massive success, shocking Sega I'm wondering how much of an effect that had on Persona going multiplatform.

Yea pretty much. Hell with FFVIIR, Nvidia had to go and patch in a stutter fix cause SE couldn't be bothered to fix their own game. I did buy it at a steep enough discount to where I am fine with it but it's very dumb for SE to release it in this state. Although this is the same company that still has not fixed Nier Automata on PC so it's not surprising. I don't even remember the state KH was in.

And yea, I wouldn't doubt if Sega saw the sales of Persona 4 Golden and decided to bring the series Multiplatform. Honestly I am glad Sega bought Altus cause pre-sega Altus would never do this imo. But then again, modern gaming is kinda crazy. If you told me Insomniac would be porting Spiderman Remaster to PC and optimizing for Valve's handheld, I'd think you are crazy a few years ago.
