NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 ‘Next-Gen Gaming’ Graphics Cards Featuring Ada Lovelace GPUs Rumored For Early Q3 Launch

The sooner, the better for all.

By the way, yesterday I was surprised when you didn't post Ada's block diagram leaked by kopite, and I'm more surprised you haven't posted it today either. For thos wondering, it's here: https://wccftech.com/nvidia-ada-lovelace-geforce-rtx-40-gaming-gpu-detailed-double-the-rops-huge-l2-cache-50-more-fp32-units-than-ampere-4th-gen-tensor-3rd-gen-rt-cores/

AMD Ryzen 7000 ‘Raphael’ CPU Specs & Price Rumors: Ryzen 9 7950X 24/16 Core Up To 5.4 GHz, Ryzen 9 7900X 12 Core Up To 5.3 GHz, Ryzen 7 7800X 8 Core Up To 5.2 GHz, Ryzen 5 7600X 6 Core Up To 5.1 GHz

https://wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-7000-zen-4-raphael-desktop-cpu-prices-specs-rumors-ryzen-9-7950x-7900x-ryzen-7-7800x-ryzen-5-7600x/

Personally I will be sticking with my 5950x for quite a while as while these CPUs will no doubt be powerful, for gaming, you probably won't need so much horse power unless you are CPU limited. The great thing about AM4 is that if you bought an older CPU like say a 3600, if you wait a few years, the CPU prices of the 5000 series will go down drastically. So you can do an in place upgrade to say a 5800X3D for a very cheap price.

High clocks all around and I dount we'll see more than 16 cores.

I gotta say, tho, that I'm a bit disappointed with AMD because it looks like they'll repeat the strategy of Zen3 and leave us without a 7700 CPU nor the lower ones until... well, maybe until Intel catches them again and they're forced to.

And yes, it will probably be better to wait because, with the need of the still expensive and hard to find DDR5 RAM, I don't think the sales will be as big as those of Zen3, and AMD may be forced to lower the prices a bit to make the new platform more attractive and get more people on board (wishful thinking, I know).

Intel Arc Desktop Gaming Graphics Cards Confirmed Through Latest Drivers: Alchemist Lineup To Include A310, A380, A580, A750, A770, Pro A40, Pro A50

Releasing never

At this point, I wonder if, given the "close" release of Ada and RDNA3, Intel will try to counter that by starting to talk about Battlemage, before Alchemist even launches worldwide. It would be hilarious.

Please excuse my bad English.

Good catch, must have missed it.

And yea, we are going up in both price and tdp (high end) for the CPUs although I will say that AMD isn't fully to blame since TSMC has been upping their cost while Intel owns their own fabs. For AMD's sake, the performance better be worth the prices they are asking cause if the rumour is legit, we are going from the $199 price of the 3600 to $350 for the 7600X for 6 core 12 thread part.

The 5600X was already $299. It's another jump in price, but not the biggest one.

And yes, TSMC has raised its prices and all that, but AMD could still have other CPUs at launch to catter the needs of more users and budgets. But no, they go with the same ones as the 5000 series and f*ck those that don't like it.
