The results are not quite what you would expect... In some games there is indeed a performance uplift while others... There is a performance decrease... The new Bios Fix also runs cooler while giving you the same clock speed as before and power... Something smells fishy... Again!

More or less, Nvidia's method is better when there is a GPU bottleneck. While Radeon boost gives you higher FPS at the loss of image quality, there are trade offs such as significantly worse 1% low, latency scatter increases and the system latency isn't consistent. Nvidia's Reflex on the other hand lowers system latency significantly and it's more consistent while maintaining image quality but it doesn't increase the FPS.

Luck I guess, was on a FE part twitter page. Alert came up and was refreshing Scan (UK retailers that sells them) for probably 20 minutes until add to basket appeared. Not sure why you have to do this, but pretty stressful stuff.

Yeah lol. There's one retailer (Scan) here sometimes restocks them, its just luck of the draw and timing if you can get one. And that lucky charm probably came in handy xD

So, has any of you tried one of the Switch emulators?

Metroid Dread looks good, but I'm not buying the machine just for it. Howver, buying the game and playing it on an emulator is something that I could think of...

It heavily depends on the game. I played Mario 3d World + Bowsers Fury on the Yuzu emulator and for the most part, it was pretty good. There were stutters at times but nothing very care worthy. But you really need to check their compatibility list. Dread doesn't look very graphically demanding so it might run just fine.

Is it easy to use?

Yea it's very easy. You do need decryption keys from a switch but you can usually get those from certain sites which typically include both yuzu and the keys together.
