The presentation solidifies my 3080 purchase. No word on RT or DLSS means that it's a no go for me, specially when Raster is so close on Cherry picked benchmarks.

Loud or terrible to overclock? Take your pick.

Seriously, smaller size is a weird thing to flex when it's about your cooler.

It just serves to emphasize that the cards use less power and, therefore, don't need such big coolers.

I'd be surprised if they're loud* with a triple fan cooler, tho.

*Loud is kind of subjective and not all fan noises are the same, so I accept that my claim is a bit ambiguous.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

I have a feeling that 6000 vs 3000 is gonna be the same as 3000 vs 10000. They're so close, but the top dog still has a slight edge in peak power, so it'll remain the top dog.

But if I was Nvidia I'd be really worried about next gen.

Given that CPUs and GPUs are designed so many years before they actually launch, no one knows what we'll get next time.

I'd say Nvidia is gonna have a tough time next year. When Nvidia goes back to TSMC, now that is when it will get interesting.

I'm guessing next year for RDNA 3 cards on TSMC/Samsung's 5nm. Speculation that they're going chiplet design. Verses a possible 7nm Ampere refresh be an interesting fight for sure.

Round 2 bois. Please be functional!
