Some more Zotac leaks, this time about the clocks. 1933 MHz 3080 so far!

Yeah, looks like I'll be going back to Zotac for this round. My 980ti was a Zotac extreme model, and did me good for a few years, so I don't see the harm in going back to them again. Looks promising.

Personally haven't considered Zotac before but that is one beautiful looking card. Certainly put them on the map.

I thought my Amp Extreme edition looked quite good for it's time:

I really wanted that Zotac 1080ti waterblock edition though, but Aorus was cheaper for me at the time. A friend of mine (the one who drew the avatar I'm sporting) just nabbed himself a 1080ti from a friend for like 300 smackos and I was jelly at that steal of a price. I think he may be passing me his waterblock for it, since he prefers fans over watercooling.

Where's my overpriced Asus?

Pharaoh: A New Era is a full remake of the 1999 isometric city-building game, releases in 2021
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/pharaoh-a-new-era-is-a-full-remake-of-the-1999-isometric-city-building-game-releases-in-2021/
Dotemu and Triskell Interactive announced the return of one of gaming’s best historical city builders ever created, Pharaoh. Revealed today during Gamescom 2020, fans will be able to rule the Nile in 2021 on PC.

That's cool! I think I own Pharaoh, but I've never got around to playing it. I've played Zeus and Emperor though, and if Emperor gets a remake, count me in... Might eventually get this one too, but probably not in a while because backlog.

I was a big fan of the original game, got a copy on CD somewhere...

Even more leaks from AIB partners

https://videocardz.com/newz/gainward-geforce-rtx-3090-and-rtx-3080-phoenix-leaked-specs-confirmed

Looks like 7nm is indeed a fact!

Also those boost clock numbers. Their 2080 Ti boost clock is rated for 1650 MHz vs 1725Mhz for 3090 but we know that 2080 Ti can go over 2000 MHz pretty easily. I think 3090 will be able hit that 21 fetish as they will be pushing these hard.

The 3090 is specced for 350W TGP and comes with a maximum possible power draw of 375W. I doubt you'll have much fun overclocking here unless you're also undervolting.

For comparison, the 2080ti sits at only 250W TGP.

Yea but the 2080 Ti will go well above it's power ratings to hit those clock speeds and I imagine so will the 3090 as long as you have the power supply and a good enough card to handle it. But granted every generation, overclocking becomes less and less of a thing so you could be correct as well.

Of course since that's gonna go in a slim laptop, it's gonna probably throttle like no tomorrow. But Up to 4.8Ghz is better than 4.1 from Ice Lake so 10nm is progressing.
