Just as I figured, I have to upgrade my 680 before The Witcher 3 comes out lol, at least they arnt downgrading the quality because of the consoles though.

Damn a 780ti only getting 34 - 45 FPS on Witcher 3!
Not to surprising though given the level of detail and the massive open world.

No sane person uses 8X MSAA, there is barely any improvement over 4X with a massive performance hit
you would be better off downsampling or using SGSSAA than 8X MSAA as that will take care of shader and transparency aliasing. Or a good post process AA if you want a smaller performance hit and don't mind a little blurring. They were aparently getting 60fps without the MSAA so with a few tweaks you should be fine with a 680 (maybe turn a couple things down) with light AA if that is true.
Of course the article could be bullshit and even if it is accurate now the game isn't coming until March 2015 so they have a lot of optimisation and features to add.

Wow I really didnt know that 8x and 4x had no difference at all, im actually just going to start doing 4x now lol thanks a lot for that! Yea hopefully they can optimize the game alot more
@The Witcher 3 performance: Let's not forget also that those numbers may include something like the Ubersmapling setting from The Witcher 2 that was a really power hungry feature or the (in my opinion, excessive) bloom or whatever is called that did very little from the game and many players actually left it disabled as they didn't like how the game looked with it.
In any case, I'd have hoped for something more like 60fps, but we'll see. The Witcher 2 didn't look bad on low settings...
Please excuse my bad English.

Having traced the rumour back as far as I can, it's far more likely it's just complete bullshit TBH

Continuing from the GTX 880 rumores specs, the guys at techreport have actually translated what the polish rumor said and made an analysis.
Apparently, the GTX880 isn't set to replace the 780 (Ti) because it isn't the top of the line card. That 880 is based on the GM204 parts while the full chip is the GM210 one. So, to put it another way, the 880 is the successor of the 680, which was a GK104 part.
Another thing they note is that it looks like there is an ARM processor in there, possibly a way to reduce draw calls and other tasks.
But, to put a big caution in regards to that rumor, they have also noticed that while the chip is rumored to use 230W, they polish leak says that it will only have 1 6-pix power connector. 1 six-pin connection gives about 75W + the PCIe slot that also gives 75W = 150 W, way less than the 230 W claimed that the card will use.
So... believe what you want

^I actually thought about that some times, you know "Ok, I've send them there and won the game ... and now what happens with them?
It looks interesting, and at least they won't have to research the wheel or chivalry again. I hope!
