The end of FFX, which was way too late....
Final Fantasy III (DS): I arrived to a point where after I defeat the golden boss, I go to a castle and they destroy my airship. Then there was a boss. He killed me instantly. After several hours of grinding I still failed. According to IGN I needed to be level 30 to even stand a chance and I was 27 or so. That was the last time I ever played that game.
Not to mention the lack of Phoenix Downs in stores. What was up with that?
My WTF moment came from "Beyond the beyond" a PS1 JRPG.
Back then frequent random battles was common but this game just took it at a whole new level. I barely moved from the entrance of a dungeon and I get like 8 to 10 random battles in succession. You finish one, walk a little and then bam! another battle and so fort.
It came to a point it was so taxing. That I just totally gave up and said screw that.
