Too expensive to break even :P

I think developers should think how to spend their money wisely. A video game crash can't be a good thing
, we have no guarantee that anyone could pull a move like nintendo did back in their days, and that could mean the end of the industry as a whole...

Best to describe by examples:
FIFA world cup south africa
Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland
Castlevania
Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening
Eternal Sonata
Jurassic Park: The Game
Katamari Forever
The Last Guardian
...and others. really i've just grown tired of this lame joke post. free cookies to those that get it.

If a crash ever happens it will be a "AAA video game crash". Indie games will continue as normal (as well as mobile) and PC will still be a very strong platform, and little by little the AAA games will emerge again.
It definitely won't be as bad a the 1983 crash, I personally think that (if it ever happens) it will have a similar impact like the crash did Europe, where the home PCs became really popular during that time.
Nintendo and PC gamer

Well if it is that way then it could benefit the industry I guess... but I really love console gaming I couldn't see myself playing PC
. Altough this is hypothetical and I hope "AAA game developers" find a better way to solve their problems!

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen. By: Suke |
It's basically the budget, but to me it has to do with production value. TLoU is like a AAAA game. Halo 4 is good example too.
