Well I think it was sort of related to the Genesis Engine, but my power changed - not saying anything because of the rules.

That's why I'm asking Mario, though nothing says he has to be honest about it. Changing alignments mid-game is extremely powerful, so I wouldn't be surprised if Vette was the only mafia to begin with, and now there's "still" only one.
Lucky I checked the site when I did. Otherwise, I could have been absent for a few days. :P

Ok, that was a rather weird turn of events. Strange flavour indeed.
There is a possibility that there are two mafiosos still left, if Mario was brought back is a move that helped town a lot, so to make it more balanced there should be more than one left in there. Or, the possibility of a mafia recruiter is plausible.
@Rol: I still can't talk about my role because it's one of those roles that traditionally isn't talked about in Mafia games
