My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.
That was the AFC game, blaydcor. While this was a great game, that one blew this one out of the water.

I approve of this post. I think I'll send that to a few friends.
Last years was great, but nothing can explain the joy I felt after seeing the Giants score the winning touchdown.
POP!
That's the sound the 1972 Dolphins champagne bottle makes.
I think a New York victory was just what those damn cocky arrogant SOBs from New England need. Maybe we can start talking sports again without having to hear how great your team is.....

My point is that the Pats weren't the best team this year. 18-1 is still 18-1. No matter if the Patriots went 19-0 this season, they still weren't the best team ever. I would still take the 78 Steelers or the 85 Bears before any Pats team. While the Bears went a "measly" 18-1 during their run, they had what is probably the best defense to ever walk the field. While they didn't run up obscene scores on their opposition during the regular season as did the 07 Patriots, they showed it where it counted most:
92-10 score vs. teams in the playoffs, with no points given up in their first two playoff games, capped off by -19 yard allowed in the first half of the Superbowl.
That, my friends, is dominance. And I'm not even a Bears fan.
Best. Team. Ever.

Oh and this was the best Super Bowl ever, not so much for the outcome, but because the officiating was clean, the action was thrilling, it was anybody's game throughout, the hits were clean, and nothing noteworthy of controversy (except for Belichick's 1s departure, something Randy Moss rubbed onto him).
BTW me Miami fan, I'll admit it during our awesome 1-15 season.
Oh and "Stain" gets my commerical nod.

Ditka vs Brady, Belichick, Moss, Wesker, Bruschi, Seau, Harrison, Samuel, Light??
Ditka wins by 103.
I missed the Superbowl (great day for my TV to choose to go on the fritz!)
How was Tom Petty?
