The Xbox One is the best total package. It is just some geeks on the internetz who are complaining. And some users are pretty vocal as you can see here: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=5444740 Oh and game sharing >>>> used games. No competition. |
1. Debatable
2. Personal opinion
3. If you live in the US maybe, I wouldn't know.
4. I wouldn't know, don't watch sport.
Against:
- Severely restrict game ownership, yet still pay $60 for new releases.
- 24h/1h checkins, internet required for game installs, doesn't work when you take the console off-line.
- Mandatory always kinected, privacy concerns and more difficult to move the console between locations.
Game sharing sounds nice but, unlike 2nd hand sales and license transfers, is directly against eulas:
Unless expressly authorized by EA, you are prohibited from making a copy of the Software available on a network where it could be used by multiple users. You are prohibited from making the Software available over a network where it could be downloaded by multiple users.

So it remains to be seen how exactly this will work out with publishers.
Far from the best total package.
