Actually I think Sony is going to take Microsoft out... to the barn and shoot em... I think if XBOX One came out say next gen or two.. we would probably be talking about how good it is.. (Or maybe not.. that DRM issue is huge.. ) But the idea of what all the XBOX can do is great if it wasn't for some policies... of course.. Microsoft also has to remember to unleash the games.. otherwise they might as well not have a system.. I mean for the most part the PC can do most of if not all the XBOX One can..the only area Microsoft actually has going for it.. is Living Room Games.. and even that is debatable... so technically.. I think if Microsoft did anything.. they just hurt themselves this gen..



Nintendo Wii by generations...

1. Wii

2. Wii U

3. Wii O U

Predictions made by gamers concerning the current Nintendo line up of games.

Pikmen 3= Little Bump to nothing. (Got Little Bump)

Wind Waker HD= Won't sell anything (The explosion happened here and at one time 4 Wii U games was in the Amazon top 100)

Super Mario 3D World= Won't help at all looks cheap. (Currently the most sought after Wii U game and continuing the Wii U increase.)

The only company that can "take out" Nintendo is Nintendo.

If the Wii U doesn't sell a single console more, they will still be doing fine thanks to the 3DS.

And the idea that the Xbox One could defeat the PS4 is downright laughable at this juncture.

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Bad press created by Sony biased journalist in the gaming industry.  Core will be core but MS is fightng for a larger market that includes mainstream; and breaking out the image of game consoles as toys and part of everyday living. It's just ahead of it's time.  Also those hating on the X1 are pirates that one to give them bad publicity b/c it curbs their illegal activities!!! I personally have no problem with the being on and who here doesn't have internet connection?  Nowadays broadband is more prevalent than cable...Sheeesh!!!

Sony already did that with the PS1..

I think they can the X1 is clearly a future proof device, Sony and Nintendo are just delaying the inevitable. Anyone who cannot see that clearly lives in a bubble and refuses to see truth.

Anyways i have been reading through this thread and honestly its so hard not to be a MS defense force fanboy on this site anymore. The amount of blind idiotic bashing this site is literally rivaling N4G. I joined this site about a month ago (been visiting for a few months before) and its literally has become on of the worst communities i have ever seen. I cannot wait for the Xbox one to release and people to realize how great it actually is so they can eat their own words.
