Forums - Gaming - List Of PS4 and XB1 Multiplats Not Coming To The Wii U

Well the Wii U has got the following Multi-platform AAA games confirmed for upcoming release:

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Watch Dogs
Project CARS
Batman: Arkham Origins
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut

Add to that a likely Call of Duty: Ghosts port as well, it aren't that bad. Still way behind the third party offering on the Xbox/PS. But still a lot better than the support the Wii received for AAA third party games. Who to say once the Wii U user base increases that we will see a lot more third party support in future.

Not talking about you or me, but there are many who can't afford both. So they are pretty much forced to get one, and many obviously go with PS/XB. So The Big N should ty to improve there hardware and 3rd party support. That's the point.

With the GC Nintendo did just that. It became their worst selling console to date and probably will remain their worst selling console of all time. Nintendo isn't capable of doing what Microsoft and Sony are doing, making massive losses. If Nintendo had released a console that's exactly the same as the XBox One or PS4 in terms of spec they still wouldn't have gotten 3rd party support simply because they're Nintendo AND they would have made massive losses as well.

I understand most of you seem to hate Nintendo as a console maker for some reason but wish to be able to play their games but I like Nintendo best as both a hardware and software producer. Because Nintendo still understands how to treat its customers.

According to me most PS/XB gamers (like me) don't wish to play Nintendo first party games at all.

And none of them are next-gen exclusives either. So I guess it was easy to port the PS3/360 versions.

And they are on current-gen consoles as well. So I guess it was easy to port the PS360 versions.

We don't know if that is the case, though. I mean, Infinity Ward said COD was coming to the Wii U. Often the Wii U version gets announced later. As such I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of KH3 and others coming to Wii U, especially if it starts picking up and/or the other systems have a poor start also.

But where is the surprise here? The key is a lot of the big titles, such as Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed, Batman and COD are coming to the U. That's much better than last gen.

That's probably due to them being cross-gen games. But COD, BF and FIFA are a pretty big deal, you know.

FIFA is the only big game listed which is skipping the Wii U. Others are unestablished games or may be a way away anyway. I never really saw BF as a big system seller, even less so this gen.

That your still not getting.

Then why make a list of games not coming to Wii U if you're not interested in the console in the first place?

I think it's fair to assume that the EA games are not coming to WiiU.

NBA Live 14
EA Sports UFC
Dragon Age 3
Mirror's Edge (reboot)
Star Wars Battlefront (that one is kinda uncertain though due to Disney)
Trials Fusion
NBA 2K14

Somewhere in all this mess of "news" EA said they still plan to support Nintendo. (In what way you ask? Haha, I don't know.)

OT: This just seems like a bait thread. Great job with that.

I do - I would love if I was able to buy just WiiU and much later on in the cycle PS4...this way, I'm skipping on way too many good 3rd party games if I don't have additional platform from the start, and that means I have to part with more cash than I intended too...or just buy WiiU much later than I wanted too, which put's less money in Nintendo pockets...not good for anybody really.

That's why I lament so often about SuperWii (around 1/2 the power of PS4 (instead of 1/8), same price as WIiU, no GamePad, Wiimote and Pro Controller as default), and missed chance for Ninty to have good 1st/3rd party console.

bolded: you can't be taken seriously by saying such ridiculous things. ps4 isn't even 8x the x360 power, let alone wii u wich is much better than 360.

Check you're facts before accusing other people, cause at the end it's you who's ending up being ridiculous

It was known for quite some time by those who follow rumors, and know a thing or two about hardware, that XOne is some 8x 360 (which MS confirmed after XOne reveal). PS4 is 1.5x of XOne, so that makes it 12x 360.

WiiU is some 1.6x 360, if it has 320 shader GPU inside, and we're generous with assumption that EDRAM makes up enough for slow memory bus. If it's only 160 shader part inside, we're looking at 1.3x of XBox. So yeah, PS4 IS anywhere between 7-9x of WiiU...for sake of simplifying things I tend to put the average, which is....ta-da...8

Please, don't bother replying, I don't have either time or energy for the n-th time to explain these things, dig through threads on the forum, and you will find all your answers.

is Disney Infinity confirmed for the Wii U? I saw something earlier that said Wii and 3Ds but not Wii U- could have been a mistake - does anyone know?

Last time I checked it was heading to PS3, X360, Wii, WiiU, 3DS and PC

That is kinda sad =/ It is like saying: Hey Jimmy, I know your mom is dead, but, hey, you still have a father, that is good, right?

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.
