I'm curious to see what the hardware survivability of the new Xbox is... we all can remember what happened when they released earlier than the PS3. Even though I never owned a 360 my brother went through 4 of them :)

Meanwhile on topic, if the PS4 is launched at the right time with minimal fuss I personally think it'll smash Xbox sales in the area of 2:1. The idea of 5:1 is a bit of a pipe dream.

The standard edition of the ps4 is now number 3. PS4 has the 1st and 3rd spots. While xbone has the 2nd and 7th spot. Be interesting to see if the PS4 holds the tops 2 spots.

Not surprising considering the price point. What's more surprising is how Xbox One fans aren't pre-ordering any games despite all the exclusives......there's so much more PS4 games in the Top 40 its not even funny.

Here's the Gamestop online charts. They are bundling games with the consoles though so the prices are inflated http://www.gamestop.com/browse?nav=28-xu0

PS4 is current #2 on the best seller's chart. Xbox One starts at #5. In total there are 5 PS4 bundles in the Top 12 while there are only 3 Xbox one bundles in the Top 12.

The first next-gen standalone game is Watch Dogs PS4 at #23 followed by inFamous at #32. The first Xbox One game is Battlefield 4 at #34.

LET ME STATE THAT THIS ITS STILL VERY VERY EARLY TO JUDGE ANYTHING FROM THESE SALES CHARTS. It is good indication for the PS4 though. Sony and MS still has a lot of work to do.

the xbox one has been restocked 3 times on amazon

Obviously when its out of stock in therenit cant remain number 1. I believe this is the first time ps4 ismout of stock now so will drop.

Perspective people. 

Xbox one is now back in stock on there and rose back up incredibly quickly

Nope, I don't. Besides, the PS4 has on average the DS3 and four or five games outselling the best selling X1 games. That should be a better comparison if you want to pull the card consoles are being ressuplied and it somehow affects their sales patters.

Incidentally, we can see the Last of Us (PS4) and Animal Crossing (3DS) are going to sell a lot!
