I mean, look at this:

A Nintendo console which can do Skirt Physics. Awesome!

Around the Network

its called cloth first of all. second its cached or baked. it wouldnt be dynamic and running in real time. basically something very common in pretty much every ps3/360 game. it could also just be rigged and animated manually, so nothing to do with power.

and seriously? your impressed by the 3d mario game? really? thats whats impressing you on a technical level?

Edit : apperantly this is a joke, so just ignore this.

What is skirt Physics?

After watching the direct again, I must say that those games look just as good as the Xbone games, just in a different way. It is Nintendo, Mario is never going to look realistic.
Every game I saw looked great!

Are your expectations normalizing? Or is it the fact that there is no lag to ruin everything?

Lol! Was it Miyamoto who said they couldn't have Peach playable for New Super Mario bros Wii because skirt physics was difficult?? Something along those lines

It's an inside joke.

In all seriousness, X and MK8 show what the system is capable of.
