the shovel is usually a metallic grey or gold if you get the golden shovel. I don't think there is a green shovel. Either they haven't finished the model for the shovel (but it was shown during the E3 trailer so that can't be true) or this is a glitch or that the shovels change color with costume or something

It seems like they announce new characters when a new game comes out , atleast that was the case with Peach, Olimar,  Luigi, Sonic.....also no Captain Falcon, maybe they announce him with a F-ZERO announcement? ;) would be too good xD

More meteor smashes are always good. I've always loved Luigi's suckerpunch, no matter how small they make the active hitbox for it.

I might be completely off on this, but wasn't Toon Link also announced somewhere around the time Wind Waker HD was released? I didn't actually realize they were scheduling the character announcements like that until now. Herpaderp.

Speaking of Link, that buff won't do much good if his piss-poor jumping ability doesn't get a major buff as well, otherwise you'll rarely be able to get into position to make use of that downward smash. A jumping buff would also make Toon Link's objective superiority over Vanilla Link into something that can almost be argued about. Aaaalmost.

That's the thing though, a lot of people thought that there would be a Pokémon reveal due to X/Y, but nothing came, only a screenshot of Xeraeas.

I don't know, but hopefully we'll get a jaw dropping reveal soon.

I agree that what Link needs is something to improve his vertical recovery. In a modded version of Brawl, they allowed him to use his thether after his Up-B, I thought that was a nice way of helping him out.
