I liked playing as Olimar in Smash. My friends and my brother thought he was useless, but I surprised them several time.

I'm actually thinking that they will be announcing characters when a game is nearing release to be honest. Pikmin 3 releases tomorrow, so it would not surprise me if a Wonderful 101 character get announced next month.

Haha, not at all. Those Pikmins could rack up so much damage if your opponent wasn't paying attention...

Hm, that's somewhat plausible. Here's hoping Bayonetta 2 will release before SSB4

Finally some new information!!! Good to see Olimar coming back. I'm not a pro with him but I still can do pretty good.

He's actually the 3rd best character according to the current Brawl tier list.

That might've been awkward if Olimar wasn't in the game considering Pikmin 3 has finally come out.

Also, I've never been able to master the "Olimar Technique" so I'm guessing SSB4 won't change that.

Mega Man looks awesome! Also, it looks like the F.L.U.D.D. move for Mario packs a little more punch, which I'm happy to see. I could never use that in any meaningful way in Brawl.

They could have changed him for either Alph, Brittany or Charlie since they're the main characters for Pikmin 3.

Maybe they will be part of Olimar's move set or something? Seeing as how you're able to throw the other characters around in Pikmin 3. (Or Assist Trophies. If those are in SSB4... I don't know!) 

If it wasn't Olimar, it wouldn't be the same, though.

     Well,  I must be out of luck since I fought with 7 users that  had Ike and I won every time, but that's because I had to be as agressive as possible.  I remember one time I got so pissed off with Mario that I kept DAIR-ing, BAIR-ing, FAIR-ing ( plus a bit of fast falling to not give the spammer any time to react) the spammer until I defeated  him/her. A ton of combinations. In Brawl is harder to combo than in 64/Melee, but  I was so pissed that I said " Screw that!" and tried my best to combo. I did a decent job.

Well, tbh, Ike is not very good at all and I bet TruckOsaurus would destroy your Ike online.

Olimar = awesomes! The Pikmin stage also looks uber cool! I hope Winged and Rock Pikmin get in on the action somehow.
