Nice official thread Wright! Dead Rising 3 really looks very good. The best thing though is the no loading screens during gameplay. I really hope that becomes an industry standard for next gen.

I read somewhere that one or two loading screens will appear, though. No mention as to why. And I doubt a boss battle can be considered loading screen when loading.

Hey that still sounds just fine to me. It's much better than having to load individual sections of the map or load missions, or load everytime I enter a building.

It's still much better than what we currently have for the most part.

Overall I think it looks like a great zombie game for zombie game fans, but I don't like the lack of MP (co-op) for the game so that makes it less appealing. I think perhaps Dying Light will meet that need overall. I'm not much one for SP only games, but if I were to be getting the XB1 I would probably get this game even though its single player.

You're wrong. Dead Rising had had co-op (albeit online-only) since Dead Rising 2. This one will include that as well.

AFAIK DR3 has co-op.

Hmm, it looks like it is rumoured from the sites I just checked. GI latest edition listed it as SP only... but a lot of games seem to have been lacking the MP (Destiny for example) label.

I didn't see a real reputable source when I did the quick search... the top results were on neogaf n4g and vg247... none of which I consider to be reputable sites for information :p

Trust me then. Dead Rising 2 had co-op and it was done by the same crew as Dead Rising 3; plus, Co-optimus listed Dead Rising 3 as a co-op game, I think.

Edit: and at the very first page of this official thread I tell you with source that this game has co-op.

@Wright: That's excellent news! This would make it a must buy for me, if I was gonna get a xb1.

I any case I wasn't a huge fan of the other games in the series I had played. I mean sure they were fun, but nothing really great. However, this third installation looks like a master piece and should be a truly enjoyable game especially zombie game fans!
