| 1. Confirmed Microsoft is actively attempting to get developers to not mention PS4 versions. If they don't say "OUR GAME IS EXCLUSIVE FOR XBONE" expect a PS4 version. #truthfact |
That part will help a lot tomorrow.

Avalanche are pretty much hinting at this. Just Cause 3 probably will be mostly single player, but they intend to use the cloud processing - I just hope (for everyone) that this is optional and not required.

I was like WHAAAAAAT!!! This is the shit : ) Now everything is competitive MP shoot em up killfest. I think that's why I am looking forward to Knack so much |
I soo agree.
I just totally ignore any shooters being shown. So sadly for the last few years E3 has been plenty poor in my eyes. i mean there is talk of like 20 games shown for Xbone. i can see over half of them being fps games. Don't know how someone can be excited about that. I don't care how much you like FPS, with like 20 released a year, you can't possibly be excited or enjoy them all can you?
I like seeing stuff like Knack or Pikman, yet all the internet seems to like doing is posting clips of Killzone or battlefied and comparing which shooter has better lighting and or particle effects. When did gaming move from being about creativity and exploring ones imagination to how great a fps games graphics are.

Right : )
I ain't a COD/BF/KZ/Halo hater. But the attitude that the FPS has caused sucks all the fun out of gaming.
If you ever sat in a MP lobby for COD, Halo, or other FPS games you will have seen the "Fuck you. You killed me so fuck you and fuck your mother". That attitude has infected gaming as a whole. You can see it at forums like this. MP games that doesn't involve guns or competitive PVP killing. Hell even PS Home has it's share.
I miss having fun with gaming and talking to people about games in a non hateful way lol. Last time that happened was with The Walking Dead. And sooner or later someone would come along and "It's not even a real game" RAGE!!! So sad
So MS is pretty much lying and downplaying a lot of stuff, didn't see that coming. Pretty soon they are gonna charge you for sleep if kinect can see it.

How are they lying?

2. More DRM messaging at Gamescom. There is no rental strategy. Try to sweep it under the rug and hope people don't remember.
3. Cloud power was designed as DRM. Period. DRM was Microsoft's idea. EA and Ubisoft are supporters, Activision slightly less so.
4. DRM plans are actually worse than what they've stated.

How is that lying?
2-4 all have to do with system stuff. They aren't taking back anything they are just ignoring it. pretty sure it has been known since the xbone reveal that e3 would be about games and not the system, thus why the may 21st reveal, so they could get the system stuff out of the way.
As for #1, how is that lying. They are just having the 3rd parties say the game is coming to the xbone, they aren't saying it isnt' coming to other systems. I mean that would be like being mad at Mcdonalds for not advertising in their commercials that burger king also serves a cheeseburger. Xbox is trying to sell its system. The xbone has a game on it, so they are advertising it. Why should they be required to also state that it is coming otu for the ps4? It's their conference.
If a 3rd party after the conference wants to wear a t-shirt saying its coming to ps4 as well, then fine, but microsoft has every right to have them not mention other systems it is coming too. As long as they aren't asked and flat out lie. Which based on all the e3's i've watched there is no Q&A during the conference, so no worries about that.

I said lying and downplaying in my comment. 3 is obviously a lie because they blammed the developers and tried to take away all the blame from them and 4 is also a lie because it's worse and they aren't admitting it, especially when 2 says they are sweeping rental strategy under the rug.
