I've read the review, lot of their complains seem legit (as well as Polygon's, though 7.5 seems bit too low for that review). Not sure what the problem is. I'm way more concerned when reviewers give perfect 10s so easily to be honest.

Once again a group of gamers is making the rest of us look bad because they feel entitled. The best day for gaming will be the day Sony goes bankrupt. Not because I dislike Sony, I just cant enjoy their product because if their fan base.

I hope you're not implying I'm part of the Sony fanbase...xD

Of course not, and I'm not going to.

The way you made it sound, I thought they gave it a 5 or something. But an 8 instead of a 9 or 10? This is pure overreaction.

My problem is not the score, my friend. I don't agree with 10s either. But that's not the point, the review itself is the point.

I don't understand I read the review ,well the parts explaining the gameplay mechanics and watched the video review, and he brings up some legit complaints, so what is your problem with the review, I'm not following.

There's already a review thread for TLOU which makes this one a bit redundant.

-> Awesome, flexible combat system.

-> Multiplayer has the deep of the singleplayer.

-> Story and game itself grow on you while you keep playing.

-> Ellie is an interesting character and Joel.

-> " You read letters from people who have long since disappeared, meet groups who have created a rickety social structure to help them survive life's many threats. Most important of all, you watch Ellie grow. From feisty warmth to beleaguered exhaustion, her many moods are always twinged with a grounded levity. Her uplifting nature stands in sharp contrast to the people and events surrounding her, compelling you to protect her, shepherd her, and cherish her. The Last of Us is a singular adventure that looks the downfall of humanity in the eyes and doesn't blink."

But you know? Fuck that. Too checkpoints make you dumb, and one-minded characters aren't cool. How can I be inmmersed in this world if I break someone's neck in silence and five meters away a guard didn't hear me? PREPOSTEROUS!
