I wont be picking one up until it's at $300 or below. That prob won't be for a while, but by that time there will most likely be a hardware revision and I'll get a lot of great games for a reduced price.

They already confirmed games wouldn't be more than $60 so I don't know about this.

They aren't fake.  ShopTo did originally have these on their site.  However, it seems they were removed to stop the confusion, since they were merely placeholders.  They know it won't be higher than £399, but most likely lower.  Not sure why people automatically jumped on this.  I mean, they could have as easily jumped on the price Amazon UK shows for both consoles, £599.  That would have created even more hysteria. 

Hopefully this is not true, the ps4 looks like cube in that picture.

Yeah likely to be placeholders to see how it looks before putting up the proper images post E3. IMHO, the PS4 will never be £399.89 in the UK, as it's been mentioned, it's only £25 cheaper than the PS3 when it was released at £425 in early 2007. I honestly feel that the PS4 will be £299 or £349 in the UK and be $399 in the US.

The thing I wonder though is, seeing as Sony's conference is some hours after Microsoft's, I wonder how much they can change the pricing for the proper price reveal at the conference. I'm sure Sony will have a price they want to charge, but was wondering that if Sony initially want to price it @ $399 and then Microsoft come out and say $349 in their conference, can Sony move on the price?

i won't pay £400 because you then have to factor in 2 games so thats to expensive. £299 for the system is my max

I am very sure that the price will be $400 for the lower tier PS4 but no idea what the higher tier will cost because to be honest no one has a damn clue what will be included in it yet. if it sells at $400 Sony is going to start off very well and will get a huge lead against microsoft which is rumored to sell at a higher price range.

Stuff is always more expensive in the UK, i remember when PS3 launched here it cost £425 here and that was equivalent to $850. £1 was $2 back then
