It would appear Xbox One will still have a good launch. Better then PS3 for sure, but without Japan likely will not beat Wii or Wii U.

It's not a handheld so Japan barely counts.

Right, because people don't buy home consoles in Japan? oh wait, its only Xbox consoles they don't buy :).

dumb american company what are they thinking.  when will they realize japan isnt worth it at all.

It never hit Xbox hard and it didn't help Sony sell more software than MS. If you look at non-Japanese games released over there you'll see that the sales figures are most of the time laughable. While UK and US give MS a tremendous edge over competition with more multi-plat sales and on top of that XBL subscriptions. Xbox is really a money making machine without Japan.

You know Japan is the biggest video game market in the world right? Well it helped  Sony sell more consoles than MS, at least now anyway. Wonder why non-Japanese games don't sell there... maybe because they don't apply to Japanese  people :P. Its funny how Sony and Nintendo can produce games that sell well over all regions, and in fact sell better in the West sometimes, while MS cannot even be bothered to try.

Not an indicator of Xbone being more popular than PS4. Not when you consider this... http://www.gamespot.com/twitter-battle/xbox-vs-ps4/ Or this... http://ca.ign.com/videos/2013/05/31/xbox-one-vs-ps4-the-results-ign-versus

Not sure if serious.
So you think the PS4 will outsell the Xbox One 8:1?

If you doubt it, you get the idea how stupid a Twitter-survey is.

I love this thread already.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Congrats!!! I guess...

I'd rather be excited about GAMES though.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Looks like xbox fans love to pay money for stuff which should be free, like preordering a console.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse
