Saying that, i really cant remember the last game i played that even had a boss. never mind a boss fight with epic music.

Some that really stand out for me are on top of the Xenoblade and Dark Souls we already discussed:

The Last Story Music - The One Ruling Everything

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers - Final Showdown

 

Others that are fully symphonic and orchestra/choir based I find meh, but that comes down to music tastes. I need a beat and dynamics in my boss music... :)

No problem.  Yeah, I tend to like the really big, operatic and epic boss themes the most.  To me it just makes the battle so much bigger and grander, giving it weight and keeping me at the edge of my seat, even iof it isn't too hard of a boss fight.

Totally agree. Blazblue and Guilty Gear have always been musically awesome. 



100% agreed, memorable music in games is dead.
