Slap to who? Xbox fans or Bungie fans? I don't see this affecting anyone but loyal Xbox fans. Fact is Bungie is now free to pursue whatever they feel is in their best interest.

A how portion of bungie fans are Xbox fans, thats a fact. I love to see you argue against this. Who are bungie fans? Halo fans. Who are Halo fans? Xbox fans.

Simply logic here dude. And yes its nice to see bungie do different things, but why try to cater to the crowd that insulted your games for over a decade?

Yes, Bungie has gained a lot of fans through Halo, but they are not the only fans they have. Bungie has fans from previous IPs before Halo. The Halo fanbase has dwindled. Why? Franchise fatigue. Who to thank? Microsoft. Don't believe me? Check out the Halo 4 population charts or Major Nelson's XBL activity list. This is why Bungie declared independence after Halo 3.

Halo nor any FPS stands a chance next to CoD on the Xbox platform. Yes, at one point Halo was the FPS but people have moved on and here we stand with all these CoD clones. Which is exactly why you see Microsoft pouring out $ for timed exclusive on CoD. If Microsoft wanted Destiny at their E3 conference I'm sure they would given Activision a nice check for it but they don't care.

Thats why i said a huge portion not all of bungie fans are xbox fans. I am aware of buniges previous games before Halo, but who are you trying to convince me or yourself? We all both know fully well that MOST bungie fans are Xbox fans. 

How can you possible say that Halo fanbase is decreasing when Halo 4 is selling better than any other Halo game ever? I could care less about where Halo 4 is on the XBL activity charts, there still thousands of players loging on to play each day. 

LOL @ declared independance part, what is this a revolution? MS owned bungie, they let them go. Plus your point makes no sense, what does Halo 4 have to do with bungie leaving MS 6 years ago?

Also thanks for answering my question on why bungie should please the community that insulted them for so long.

Activision is smart in showcasing CoD and giving timed exclusive DLC for Microsoft since there is an already established fan base.

I believe Destiny has a better chance of getting the proper attention it deserves at Sony's event. I feel if it was shown at Microsoft's E3, it would overlooked by NFL, FIFA, CoD, and TV. Oh, and of course another Halo game.

I have been a fan of Bungie since Halo:CE and I am extremely happy that they escaped the clutches of Microsoft. After the disaster that Halo 4 turned out to be and Bungie/Sony relationship, I look forward to the PS4.

Highly doubt you are a true fan. The fanboyism in your comment is off the charts. Halo 4 was one of the best Halo games by far, much better than Reach or 3.

Halo 4 broke everything that made Halo. I felt like I was just playing a beta for a CoD game . I'm going to call it right now. Before the Reclaimer Trilogy ends, Halo will implement ADS.

They really should of let Halo die after Reach and move on. 343 should of been used to make a new IP.


How so the gameplay is still Halo, please elaborate on this . I do not see anything COD about it. Just becase the MP borrwed aspects of what makes other shooters popular this gen dosent make it COD.

Why should Halo die? Name one mega hit franchise that ended when it supposed to. Go a head, like to see you try. As long as they make quality games that keep their fans entertained why end it? Only haters like seenig good games die, in my eyes.

Because it's "borrowing" aspects that make other shooters popular this gen is exactly what makes it a CoD clone. Please tell me how Halo 4 isn't like CoD besides ADS which will come in time.

Halo should die because it has told the story it needed to tell and perfected its multiplayer before Halo 4. I wish I could name a mega hit franchise that ended but unfortunately that's another issue we have today with unnecessary sequel and prequels.

This is exactly why I am a Bungie fan because they give themselves a set time on the IP they work on and then move on. We need more Bungies and Naughty Dogs. Nothing wrong with moving on. All good things come to an end.

Answer my question about what gameplay elements Halo 4 borrowed from COD first. You are just trying to dodge the question bescause you cannot answer it. Once you have done that ill answer yours.

Exactly you cannot name a single franchise, if Halo should die mario, grand turismo, bioshock, and almost every other game franchise out there should die as well. Just because you stopped enjoying halo games does not mean it should die, because millions fell otherwise. I do not like COD does that mean the series should end cause i want it to? No, millions of people still enjoy playing the game and they should continue to do so till otherwise not because my selfish ass wants something else.

 

I understand where you are coming from but its covered in a thick layer of fanboy.
