I'll see. Is it that good? How is the battle system? It has no random encounters right?
Also I'm definitely gonna try Demon's Souls. Not sure when I'll get it but it's one of the games I want to try first.

Since you asked for details...
Encounter system is the same as Chrono Trigger.
The battle system is completely different, but it's still turn based.
Turns are shared (there isn't a character 1 turn and a character 2 turn).
Each character (and enemies) have an stamina bar. Whenever an action is executed the stamina for the character doing the action goes down (varies depending on the action), and everybody (allies and enemies) else's stamina goes up. A character with zero stamina or below cannot do an action.
It's not possible to see the enemies' stamina bar, so you don't know when are they going to attack, which can mess up your battle plan.
Each character has three basic attacks. Weak attacks have higher accuracy, but deal low damage and waste little stamina, stronger attacks have lower accuracy and waste more stamina, but they do way more damage (way more damage, they're really worth it if you don't miss). Everytime a character hits an enemy with a regular attack his/her % of missing decreases, making strong attacks viable, but this lasts only until the character depletes his/her stamina or you change to another character. Hitting enemies with basic attacks builds "energy" (let's call it that) that can be used for elements. Strong attacks build more energy.
Magic and items have been replaced by elements. Each element can be used only once per battle. Every character has its own element grid, where you allocate elements for him/her to use. Elements have levels, and they require more energy the higher its level is.
A character can use his/her unused energy in the post-battle screen to recover HP if he/she has a healing element and enough energy to use it.
Elements and characters belong to a certain "element" (light, fire, etc).
Levels (stars) are gained after certain bosses. Normal battles give some minor stat bonuses, until they give nothing.
A pic would make things more clear, but it may spoil things, so it's up to you.
If you're into SRPGS or mechs you should consider getting Front Mission 3 on PSN.
