What did it sell?

No real numbers yet but it just breaks every PSN record sales surpassing all games ever released in SCEA and SCEE.

It did over 100k just in SCEA in less than two weeks... well way over because FFVII did 100k in 10 days at SCEA but the fastest selling before Journey was inFAMOUS: Festival of Bood.

First two weeks: Journey > inFAMOUS: Festival of Bood > FFVII > 100k

In SCEA only.

"I think to have a financial success, that is going to change everyone, it has to be much bigger than a game on the Playstation platform,"- Journey creator Jenova Chen.

What this link have to do with sales numbers? You know Sony financied the game for over two years... so now Sony is getting most part of the money to recover what they invested... financial failure <> sales success.

Guess where they're going with their games next? Multi-plat. Nice way to say Xbox Live for them.

They didn't get much profit to invest in another Journey. They recouped the money invested in Journey but not enough to risk another round.

While Minecraft is selling on XBL more than most Sony flagship titles but GT5.

Fixed.

I agree that indie games do seem to sell better on Live, but that comparison is awful.

Oh man, this is becoming worst every second. I know devs don't have much word in this, the publishers are the ones that decide where the game will be release, but all this negative press will hurt MS more than they even imagine.

Seriously what the heck is going on inside MS?
