Hunger games meets Monster Hunter!

Around the Network

According to the website it's for PS3/Vita/PSP. Rather ambitious.

do you mean this one: http://www.jp.playstation.com/scej/title/panopticon/ ?

then that's actually links to the sections of the different systems and not ment to announce the system(s) this game is being developed for

Only animation trailers don't raise an interest in a game, art and style looks promising, but without gameplay they could be as well promoting a movie.

that's a Vita game

another MH style from Sony for Vita... maybe?

Sony - the beacon of light in gaming saving it 1 new IP at a time.

In some places you'd be called a fanboy for speaking the truth.

Truth it is.

Sony is the the company to support  right now imo.

I have no idea what I just watched, but it looks really cool!

I want to be excited but that trailer was a load of trash, sorry.

just out of curiosity, could you provide a example for a first trailer that got you excited for a game?

To name a few:

FFversus XIII. Final Fantasy XIII, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Pokemon Battle Revolution (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djMyzIiYENo), MSG4, Cyberpunk 2077, Assassins creed Revelations, Beyond 2 Souls.

For me a reveal trailer has to do one of these things very well: highlight gameplay or potential gameplay elements(zelda, pokemon, FFXIII), Engage you with a preview of compelling characters or story (Beyond2souls/MSG4), simply be stylish and aesthetically beautiful (versus XIII/Cyber punk)or alternatively evoke WTF reactions.

I was not moved by the trailer because there appeared to be no narrative for me to be enaged by, just random scenes. No character insight, just anime charcter with overblown expressions. No concrete gameplay concept layed out, exept for the fight at the end, but it was too generic to gauge anything worth getting excited about. Also not particularly cool or amazing, reiforced by the fact that there was no sound effects to create impact or dialouge, just that very lame musical score. I was most excited at the beginning with the portroyal of modern Japan with the artstyle, there onwards it becomes a generic mess IMO. But I trust in Sony Japan, hence why I said the trailer looks like trash and not the game :)

another new IP. very stylish. Its great that they actually bring new ideas here.
