God of War: Chains of Olympus looks better I think...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Once we get proper shots from GOW:COO I will do a comparison, although the video did look good.  I get the feeling that 2007 will be a bumper year for the PSP.

It's not like we're not due a good release list.

I'll be getting both games mind you.

Looks really good, I've never seen dynamic shadows like this in PSP game. Personally I believe Ready at Dawn will provide something even more spectacular on PSP with God of War... I wonder is it still 222 MHz, I wouldn't be surprised if upcoming firmware unlocks 333 MHz for games like this. Definitely it will be the best year for psp so far. The lineup is extremaly strong.

Silent Hill, Final Fantasy Crisis Core, Gran Turismo (yeah... ), God of War, Crash, Castlevania, Cannon Fodder (!), Oblivion

Maybe we will see also Devil May Cry, Soul Calibur and new MGS title... HOT !

A few PSP developers have mentioned upping the CPU clock speed from 222Mhz to 333Mhz.  I think Ready At Dawn is one of them.  Obviously doing this will short the battery life a bit...but not drastically.

I reckon this is something that Sony will do sooner rather than later as it would seriously up the processing level.

I'm excited about God of War of the PSP as well seeing as RAD has stated that Daxter only used around 50-60% of the PSP's power known to them at that time.  They reckoned that GOW uses closer to 80% of the power and Daxter was one fine looking and playing game, so GOW should be an absolute treat.

It's great to start seeing games looking like this on the PSP now.
