 http://www.sacred2.com/en/news/news/detail/cdv_published_SACRED_2_Fallen_Angel.html

"The title is slated to launch on PC and Microsoft Xbox 360™ in the second half of 2008, timed to meet consumer demand during the 2008 holiday season.

Based on the remarkable success of the predecessor, Sacred, of which more than 1.8 million units were sold world-wide, it is expected that the sequel will achieve 2008 sales revenues in excess of 10 million €.

“With the exceptional Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, our North American subsidiary has secured one of the top titles for 2008. We are delighted to take a major step forward with a game that has such AAA market potential,” said cdv Software Entertainment AG’s CEO, Christian Gloe"

AAA game?? Well at least they're going to try!

Yeah, I called it a PC/360 game "exclusive" as in "not on the PS3"

Interesting. I never played the first game but I'm all for more WRPGs on the 360.

Looking at IGN, it seems as if it was a decent game, though nothing special.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

The first one was one of the best Diablo-clones out there, so this one might be good, though I doubt it will play much good on 360.

As for the PC version, it's going to face stiffer competition than Sacred 1 when it came out. Space Siege (big ARPG from Gas Powered Games), Guild Wars 2 and some smaller arpg's coming out

This game could sell decent in Europe. At least in Germany (the developers are from Germany) because it's very popular over here.

A nice move to catch up with the sales of the PS3 but I think I won't buy it (maybe for 30 EUR) and there is also the problem that Europe and especially Germany is a PC country so the impact could be very small.

But there is hoping!

Sacred (the 1st one) wasn't an AAA game (slow, poor AI).
I hope Sacred 2 is better because I love the genre (hack'n'slash).

I really enjoyed playing the original's campaign co-op with my sister; a very good game for sure, almost as good as Diablo and with a much more open-ended world. If my PC can handle it, I'll pick it up. Still waiting for Elder Scrolls V though :)

I played the first one, a good game but not as good as Diablo or Titan Quest. And definitely not a joypad game.
