Glad to see that devs seem to be happy with the service. The only question now is whether sony makes money by offering this for free.

Common misconception. Sony does not offer anything for free.

They let you rent it. Its not the same thing. If you stop paying and want to play the game you need to either buy it again or resub.

Sony no doubt made the math on this. I'm sure its worthwhile for them otherwise they wouldnt do it. Its also possible that its a strategy aimed at luring customers that gets phased out over time. So far doesnt seem to be the case though.

It's not buying again though, if you unsubscribe and want to play it again, it's still only buying it for the first time...

It works for developers with new releases too. Thomas was alone was 'free' on ps plus in Europe, got lots of good feedback from users so I decided to buy it on this side of the pond.

Yes, thats what i meant, but its difficult to explain since you technacly already got the game once and you do pay for the service so its not exactly free.

I'd wager that the PS+ discounts are a substantial boost to Sony's digital sales. Publishers and developers are probably fighting to get in on that listing.

yes i don't think much is free,we rent it,most people understand this,

anyway i buy a lot of my stuff via psn now and i think plus is a good way to sell dlc for mid cycle games but maybe it isn't i don't know the figures,if i was into the game i would though
