I just read this and it sucks, but as long as Yoshiharu Gotanda remains tri-Ace is fine. I am interested in what he will do with his fresh start though.

Nope. Star Ocean will be fine. Just to let you know Yoshiharu Gotanda(creator of SO and Tales) programmed the OG series and many other of tri-Aces IP's. This one one lost but they will be fine
