It's weird how everyone I talk to on the internet seems to hate Hillary, and I keep hearing about Obama winning states by a large margin, but she's still in the lead.

Do you guys think Hillary-supporters are mostly people who don't use the net, or my perception is just screwed by how I like Obama? =P

Well its a possibility =D

Obama was winning but hilary made a huge comeback and is taking over.

Im happy hilary is winning and should win easily, she took florida by a large margin receiving 50% of the votes.

Seeing as how she broke her promise to not go there just to get media face time, i'm not sure how that helps her, Obama and Edwards were men of their word and she's a conniving witch, and if she gets the dem nod we end up with four years of McInsane, who'll end up wrecking this country

Question,.... what happens the the delegates that the people who are dropping out? Do they just get reallocated to the people still in the race or are they just lost?

I expect that after next tuesday...

McCain vs Romney
Hillary vs Obama

All others will stop.

I think Paul will stay, he has the money

He's got 62 of them, according to CNN, and the Democratic Convention Watch blog has this explanation on where they'll go:

First, all of his superdelegates go back into the no endorsement pool. Second, his 4 delegates from New Hampshire and his 8 delegates from South Carolina will go to the convention as Uncommitted. And finally, his delegates from Iowa don't exist anymore, but will be replaced with Clinton or Obama delegates. That's because delegates to the national convention haven't actually been picked yet in these two states. There are Congressional District and state conventions still to come, and all his delegates to the Congressional District conventions will have to vote for one of the remaining candidates to the state level convention.

UPDATE: Kornacki says he's suspending his campaign, not formally withdrawing, which means he'll maintain a block of delegates.

It seems that a lot of Edwards supporters are moving over to Clinton, which is shocking considering Edwards' positions were much more similar to Obama's. It will be interesting to see what happens on Feb 5th.. particularly now that the Republican nomination is pretty much a done deal.

Edwards' concession speech in New Orleans was amazing. He is the real deal and obviously cares deeply about economic disparaty... even if you disagree with his solutions, he is a class act. Hopefully, we haven't heard the last from him.
