A number of former Bizarre Creations staffers formed Lucid Games in 2011 after Activision shut down the studio.
In February, a rumor surfaced that Lucid has been hard at work on a new Project Gotham Racing title for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 successor. And as it just so happens, members of the studio do have experience with the Project Gotham Racing series.
Might we be getting a first look at the game this month? Lucid Games left an interesting teaser message on its Facebook yesterday that certainly points in that direction:
“So yeah, Mid-May will be interesting for the studio. We have some exciting updates coming. Stay tuned!”
Microsoft will be unveiling its new Xbox console on May 21. That’s right around mid-May…
