The PS4 and Xbox 720 ports of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “GTA 5,” could be announced soon. According to a report by Gameranx on April 16, Take-Two Interactive will be holding an investor call event on May 16. Similar events in the past resulted in new game announcements as well as more details regarding the future plans of the company. You can check out some screens from the latest entry from the “Grand Theft Auto” series in the slideshow at the top of this article.

Previous rumors and speculations suggest that “GTA 5” is coming to the PS4 and Xbox 720. Rockstar Games, the publisher of the upcoming title, have only confirmed that the open-world action-adventure video game will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 current-generation consoles.

“GTA 5,” which is being developed by Rockstar North, is slated to come out in the North American region on Sept. 17 while the PS4 and Xbox 720 will be launching sometime in late 2013.

I hope this is true I'd rather have improved draw distances and framerate on PS4. Since it's so much like PC they should have an easy time porting it and upping the specs (since PC lets you adjust them they have already programmed for framerate increase and resolution).

Sounds good. Probably was a factor in why it was delayed.

Not going to happen.

i hope so, i would much rather play gta 5 on the PS4

If this gets a PS4/Nextbox port but no/late PC port imma be pissed.

Awwww yea mayne. I’ll get getting that 720/PS4 version.

If true, will be getting it for ps4 for sure.

What about Wii U
