$399 for the basic version with a 250GB harddrive.

$449 for the 500GB model + Some game and PS+ for 3 months.

These prices could be lower with a subscription of course.

I thought almost the exact same thing but I think the HDDs will be 500gb and 1tb respectively.  I don't see how they could downgrade from the top of the line PS3 when downloads are only going to get bigger (I already am over 250gb and I only got + 7 or 8 months ago).

I expect $400 and $450 for 500gb and 1tb repectively.  Other stuff not sure but the $450 may include a PS+ membership and maybe a small game download code (Knack or something).  If they really wanted to win me over they would have a $500 model with KZ, PS+ for 3 or more months, and a 1tb HDD and a download code for Knack.  That may be wishful thinking though lol

They'd make too much of a loss if it was free so I don't think so.

why dont they just announce the price?
