Forums - Gaming - What is bigger- Zelda or Fable

Zelda is the more valuable IP. It is way better known, established and sold Millions of games more than Fable.

Ask yourself this. If MS could keep Zelda but had to give up Fable for it what would they do ?

Fable is not very known. Most people never heard the name Fable or associate a game with it..

Great replies! In fact, they're so great I don't have a response to them! You have overwhelmed me with your perfect logic, which I cannot refute. It's as solid as the theory of Creatonism! Flawless. OMG!!! How could I have been so blind! I've wasted my life on nothing!!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSaw85bliyQ <---- 32 reasons why Fable 3 rocks!!!

1) Make bold statement.
2) Dont backup it with facts or any additional details (LoZ - 2D and Z:SS - 3D, thats why fans dont buy it - doesnt count).
3) Post AngryJoe (LOLD) video.
4) Rage quit.

Ok.

What's this talk about the most recent Fable game selling more than Zelda? Last time I checked, Fable: The Journey received mixed reviews and didn't even break a million copies. Yet the motion-controlled Zelda is sitting on a 92 on Metacritic and over 3.5 million copies sold...

Yet it sells better than "way better known" Zelda. You can't explain that, unless you count NES and N64 sales (very "smart" move btw).

Oh well, one more user on here to ignore from now on.

lulz

Remind me of never getting in an argument with you again, since you simply refuse to listen. I don't know if you don't comprehend what I've been saying to you (since you only answer half of the things I've replied with), or if you're trying to earn your name, or you're a fan boy of Fable, or if there is something else at work here. Now I'm not saying you're any of the above, just that you and I are done discussing this since it's quite obviously not going anywhere and I frankly don't like you.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Lold.

Hey, smartguy, explain me this little sales.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures GC 2004 Action Nintendo 0.63 0.16 0.00 0.02 0.81

Not even a 1m copies, and it is more similar to major games, than Fable: Journey.

Also, to people thinking i'am fanboy (LOLD).

Im own Famicom, Super Famicom and Gamecube. I played almost every major Zelda title (console and hadnheld, exception - DS version and TW i played on Gamecube). So, dont ever thinking about using this argument again. I know what im talking about.

Fable hasn't lived as longs as a series, hasn't sold as much, doesn't get as good reviews, doesn't influence other games nearly as much as Zelda does, and doesn't generate nearly as much fan art and community buzz as Zelda.

There's no real discussion here, but of course people are allowed to prefer Fable over Zelda. That's a matter of personal taste.
