It is so soon to say already who will be the winner.

What i hope is a balance sales for all of the companies (Like in the actual generation) so more options with a good offer will be avaliable for all kind of preferences.

all 3 major players, MS, Sony and Nintendo are going to take a significant sales loss this generation. Nintendo will take the worst of it, as they offer little to no reason for a casual to get a Wii U.

The other companies will see a shrunk market, as the loyal Nintendo fanbase won't need a 2nd HD console in their house this gen.

From my personal perspective, this generation of gaming bores me to tears. There is so little innovation and so much rehash that this is what the industry deserves for being so unimaginative. Expect to see all but the biggest studios close shop.

I respect your opinion, but i don't agree with you at all.

Games like Little Big Planet, Minecraft, Demon's/Dark Souls, Katherine, Journey, and a bunch of Indie games are such a fresh innovation air in the industry.

From my personal perspective i think this generation has been awesome. (Even the new fashion is to complain about it, in a good a hipster way)

The point is, that all these consoles are competiting with each other, but going their own sperated ways. Which is why its sort of pointless sometimes to compare each consoles with one another. 

So when were humans granted the power to predict the future?

I don't think the PS4 or XBOX 720 will sell 10 million units right out the gate either. The Wii U is an awesome system. Don't not play something because you've heard what other people say, you'll miss out on a lot of good software. I use to be the same way with Playstation and Nintendo.

There's always good games on consoles you can't deny that. Who cares if Nintendo's Wii U doesn't sell 500 billion consoles what matters is that there is good software being created for the platform by some of the most creative minds our world has to offer. Don't know about you but that sounds pretty darn good to me.

Well that depends. Some franchises are better on Wii than Game Cube.

For Nintendo, all Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros., and Mario Karts are better. I liked Wind Waker, Metroid Primes, RE4, F-Zero and such but The Wii had Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, Skylanders. I hate most of the motion controlled games though. UGH, and the amount of shovelware was horrific! Game Cube was great though. If it had 4GB discs like PS2 if would have had a good chance.

You've missed mentioning the killer app for PS4 that will that will be fantastic, and that's... the PSVita, and it's remote play with PS4. You will be able to play any PS4 game remotely over wifi, not just in the same household like with the WiiU. Plus, there's PS Plus! with ONE PS Plus account I get free games on my PS3 AND the PSVita, that's a killer deal, and we'll see the same deal for PS4 as well. What will the X720 have, kinect? Does anyone really use and care about Kinect?
