* COD 4 has legs only 14% drop.
* Lost Odyssey still undertracked.

It seems that due the release of the arcade xbox 360 and good line-up in the first 3 months the sales will increase 10 - 15% year over year!

In disadvantage, x360 had FAR more Japanes oriented games in 2006-2007, then PS3 had in 2007, BUT in 2007 PS3 is getting MUCH more Japanes games.
Possible PS3 pricecut in 2008 also will make impact on x360 sales.

I think people are underestimating the growth of the HD market due the Olympic games this year.
This year will be a great year for both PS3 and Xbox 360.

I'm expecting Dead Rising 2 to sell more on the 360 in Japan than on the PS3.
We haven't heard anything about cry on since the announcement?!
Will MS announce DOA5 and Blue Dragon 2 on the GDC or on the E3.

I think Cry on will be shown this year.
Dead rising 2? In usa maybe. In Japan? NO WAY.
Though, Lost Planet sales ON PS3 will show who of us 2 are closer in predictions.
90k LP on x360, if on PS3 it will sell over 50k first week, then DR2 on x360 has no chances to sell better on x360 in Japan with simultaneous release.

Anyway, PS3 will get A LOT of Japanese games in 2008-2009, x360 LOST it`s momentum and advantage in THAT.
But, all what i can say, GOOD LUCK. =))

p.s. what japanese games x360 got in summer? and how much xbox cost in Japan by 2004 and 2005? I mean about not going lower 4k. =))

Mass effect - it probably will have appeal to same people, who bough Oblivion. =)

1 year difference? Oblivion on PS3 was released 2 months after the X360 version in Japan....Selling 8k more on a system with 2 million less units is huge.

Ninja Gaiden did 66,000 units in Japan in 04 - Twice the number of Xbox's sold that year. That is absolutely HUGE for that year.

ME probably will sell to the same crowd as Oblivion - and sell a buttload of copies.

Actually, it was a system seller if you bothered looking at the charts, Crazzy (which I am convinced you never look at the charts).

NG allowed a pretty decent X360 boost from the near-0 unit sales the Xbox had in 04. One can only wonder what NG can do on a system that is actually somewhat alive.

You can say "oh, it's on a western system, it must sell better" but thats entirely in the face of the gaming market on the X360 - which the 3 highest sellers are Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and DOA4 - all J-centric games.
