I’d have to be a real hypocrite since I buy almost every Playstation exclusive – be it for Vita or PS3.

Damn you're even more loyal to the house than me.  Maybe I'll get a Vita if they make a real R&C for it (like ACiT)...or a GTA (after seeing the PSP ones I think people would be amazed what they could do with Vita)...or a GoW.  I'm interested in the Batman game coming out for 3DS and Vita but I also would pick up LBP, Uncharted, and SSD along with possibly Tearaway and KZ when I get it.

Just saying 360/PC games have been bashed and swept under the rug for years, but now its okay when Sony bends the definition of an exclusive.

All in all im just glad were both on the same page now, that an exclusive just really means "not on the competition".

would it help if we just called them playstation exclusives?  If you can't see the difference between being available on an open platform like PC and being on a dedicated handheld from the same manufacturer then I don't know to reason with you.

a 360 game also on PC and a PS3 game with a vita version still means that both arent exclusive to one platform.

Its a 2 way street. List multiplats on a PS3 list then 360 gamers can list 360/PC multiplats, because the "read between the lines" message to these lists is that the PS3 games arent on 360, and vise versa.

You can list PS exclusives to save face, but then you just ended a rich history of your own people, a rich history of listing strict exclusives. Now your bending it to PS exclusives to accomodate Sony trying to give Vita some games.

........it isnt hard to understand.

To list PS3/Vita games as a "PS3 exclusive" is just wrong, according to the PS3 fan bible, which defines an exclusive as just on PS3. So if you chose to bend the definition to accomodate PS3/Vita games, then its only fair for 360 owners to list 360 multiplats not on PS3 as 360 exclusives....because lets be honest, thats the whole damn point of 360/PS3 fan-made exclusive lists.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle is probably at the top of my list (I'm a big JJBA fan, hence my avatar). I'm also looking forward to The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, and Tales of Xillia. I'm also currently playing Ni No Kuni (great game). So far, 2013 is looking pretty damn nice for people who have a PS3.

To be fair to Sales, he's been consistent with this for at least as long as I've been a member of this forum. A game cannot be a PS3 exclusive if it is also on Vita just as a game cannot be a 360 exclusive if it is also on PC.

Or they can. You either consider things "console" exclusives (i.e. only on home consoles) or an "actual" exclusive (i.e. not on any other platform).

I get where he's coming from. It would just have been better if he'd said all this in 1-2 posts rather than arguing it for most of the thread :P
