They would've sold if they were QUALITY

and Wipeout gets a pass because NOTHING really sold on Vita at the time. It probably would've did good if it released when Vita hit$ 199 worldwide

^ So you're implying that Starhawk is not a quality game? D: Because it sold really, really bad, and if we follow this path of logic...

then he's also saying Sly Cooper 4 isn't quality... D:

you never said a damn thing about Sly Cooper 4

stop trying to put words in my mouth..

Games on PC don't tend to interrupt historical console games. We've always considered exclusive to mean console exclusive here on vgc...otherwise 360 wouldn't have any exclusives.

LOL you're joking right Forza 2, Forza 3, Forza 4, Forza Horizion, Dead or Alive 4, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and tons of Kinect games just to name a few.  Also you failed with mentioning Katamari since it never really went multiplatform since every title in the series is only available on one console.

Go ahead, list them all. Then we'll have a list war. Care to guess which console has more exclusives? I wonder, have you ever been in a thread claiming 360 has more exclusives? Judging by your attitude, I'll bet you have.

My point is your thread fails with Katamari being another example on top of that you fail by saying the 360 has no exclusives.

Fine I'll remove Katamari, it wasn't a huge point to begin with.

I'm saying that if PC makes a game not exclusive, then 360 has very very few exclusives.

I just challenged you to name all the exclusives, and now you're backing down by not posting them? Keep hiding in the corner.

Why should I name all the 360 exclusives for you, my point is your thread fails for the most part since the only game you mentioned that was truely a Sony exclusive at one point is Crash.

You don't need to list them, it was rhetorical, I know for a fact that the ps3 list beats the 360 list if we include pc as a platform because lists have been made before on vgc.

This one is from November

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=149969&page=
24 vs 33

Plus, You can feel free to add modnation racers, and one piece pirate musou as they just became million sellers for ps3.
Ratchet and clank all 4 1 and naruto ultimate ninja storm are at .99 but feel free not to include them.

That is a list of 1m+ sellers that are complete exclusives, making the total 24 to 35.

You don't know what you're talking about with "true exclusive", what you're talking about is first party. You are the one who fails. In the history of games, we've seen very very few first party games go multiplat. I can say...Crash, spyro. Are there more? The argument that I didn't use WHAT YOU CALL true exclusives, is baseless. I don't have to clue you in that you are the ONLY PERSON saying this, right? You. Just you. By yourself. In the corner.

If i can't played a game fully then it lacks quality.

and why the fuck do you keep bringing up Starhawk? He said Twisted Metal, Socom, Wipeout

Excuse me...why are you talking in third person? o.O

This is true, if one wants to ignore the multiple factors going into these games. install base has already been mentioned and genre has been mentioned.

Tekken 6 is seen as worst than 5 which is probably why it didnt do as well. (Scenario mode? the hell was that?) if it was exclusive it would have sold the same, because those who bought it on xbox would have bought it on PS3 and would have the same numbers. You could say the same for most these games

Crash sucked after ND stop developing it, that simple. People arent stupid they noticed the dip in quality.

KH you are comparing a main entry to what are essentially handheld spinoffs. it is unfair and a flawed comparison. not to mention there was a KH game released BEFORE KH2 came out on a non Sony system, so its more of an issue with people not wanting to play these games on handhelds

Persona4 you know this is wrong but youre going with it anyway. Nice, fighters are not that popular unless its Smash, SF, or MK.

katamari maybe

FF lets ignore how divisive ff13 was. IMHO it would have done worst, because people were not going to buy PS3s for what is seen as a mediocore game at best

MGS why compare main entries to spinoffs? makes no sense. of course people are not going to buy it, as an MGS fan. Im not getting it because for all intents purposes its not a MGS game. Its a hacknslash with MG paint on it.

GTA maybe

DMC the quality of the latter doesnt come close to DMC3. not even a contest.

TR one it was never really exclusive. so argument is already flawed. the first was released on PC and Saturn and the rest was released on PC. The game peaked at the sequel and it was downhill from their. It started sucking BEFORE the PS1 series even finished. and my god that PS2 game. The reboot is the fastest selling it has been in a while so not sure what you are getting at.

you have to remember that Square cut a MAJOR load of content from the ps3 version of FF13 to fit on 3 360 discs

FF13 would've been a better overall game

we will never know what FF13 was REALLY supposed to be like

but what's done is done

im sorry but i still dont believe that, not that it matters anway. The game did ok sales wise.

i guess

Square pretty much admitted it but whatever

just go to google and type in something like "square cut content from final fantasy 13" or something

there will be multiple links

Metal Gear: Rising is a spinoff from another developer, so fail comparison is fail.

Did it. Didn't find any quotes from anyone at Square saying the 360 limited game content. Everything mentioning cut content doesn't say it was for the port.

I remember reading an article about a 3D asset artist working for Square on FF13. She said she worked for months on a 3D model of a rock. It wans't that it was difficult or it needed to be just right for a really special scene. It was just a random rock, but nobody check in on her and she had nothing else to do but work ont he rock.

Stories like that tell me that Square lost focus and had too many people working on too many things. Of course unfinished junk is going to get cut from a game when you have too many cooks in the kitchen and the head chef doesn't even know what's for dinner.

Supposedly the cut content wasn't "junk"

i also remember square stressing about getting ff13 on specifically 3 discs for 360. That's what they kept "aiming" for.

Edit: i couldn't find a link for the specific article i read on it but here is this http://www.vg247.com/2010/02/02/confirmed-ffxiii-360-to-ship-on-3-dvds/

they had to cut a game's worth of content from FF13 so it could fit on 3 360 discs
