Excellent move, but I rather see it advertized during a superior series. But, given the theme of the game it seems spot on. Let us just hope that a lot of gamers actually watch these series, live.

Well, the show is watched by over 10 million people almost every episode lately, so yeah and it is an excellent move.  Don't know if that is live or with people watching it recorded mixed in.

It got to 10 already? Last time I checked on ratings the show was around 6-7million viewers. People really like soap operas with cheap scares apparently. lol

Ya at least from what I've read.  I personally love the show.  It has problems but to me it's one of the better shows on TV.

The premiere of season 3 was at 10.9 million.  15.9 million when factoring in the encore presentation.

Midseason premiere of season 3 was at 12.3 million.

From wikipedia is shows that only 3 episodes of season 3 barely dropped below 10 million.

I am watching it as well, I've seen all seasons. I like some things about it, like the zombies of course, but the dialogue, character development, anyways, most of it I don't like. But I always have fun talking to my sister and criticizing things about the series. lol If you like horror, you could try giving American Horror Story a chance, especially the second season which was pretty much amazing. Not so scary, but the characters are awesome.

Anyways, with those huge ratings it is a good move to promote stuff there. I can't think of somewhere else fit for advertizement, during Holy Week films? I don't think so.

I have watched maybe 7 episodes of American Horror Story off netflix.  So far it's just freaking weird and not really scary.  I need to finish it and then hopefully the second season is put on after a while.

So was the second season much better than the first season? Because I thought the 1st season was just OK, nothing special

The first season started very good but then kind of watered down some, right? The second season which is a stand alone story, pretty much like stories between FF (an anthology if we go and talk things properly) is incredible. Well written characters, unexpected developments, original story elements, great dialogue: horror + drama + religion + Nazis + science fiction... the awesomeness! Hugely above the first season, at least for me. :) If you like the first season to some extent, the second seasons' most memorable parts are way better than anythin from the first one.

Yeah, it isn't scary but I don't know if it is just me or if it is the series itself. I mean, It takes quite some for me to get scared. And maybe it isn't scary but at least this series isn't about zombies with the ability to become invisible and come out of nowhere after a couple of seconds. :P Like I told pezus the second season is way better. You could skip the first one if you like, the second one is a stand alone story. :)

Yeah I've heard really good things about the second season.  Hopefully season two comes to netflix streaming soon.   Not to derail the thread, but have you ever seen supernatural?

I have seen episodes, they passed the series in my local channel. I like the special effects but I have problems with series that are kind of focused in episodes separately, like when the characters start a new episode wondering: "What will happen today I wonder..." I don't know if you get what I mean. I like series that start from a point and every episode seems to move the story forward to reach a destination, not series that have a loose problem that is mainly used to start the premise of the story and then is simply retaken only to close a season and make you feel like the series ran to an actual destination. In simplier words, I like series where you miss an episode and then you don't know what the fuck is happening anymore. lol

You know, there are different ways to get a hold off series.... bwahahahahahaha If you want to know more, I can tell you by PM. *evil pirate face* Well, actually I think it is legal, public broadcast of TVs are for free distribution, I think. hmmm

*ahem* I can't wait so see TLOU ad this next Sunday... yeah. lol

Yeah I get what you mean.  That is something I'm not a fan of in supernatural, but the seperate episodes are kinda the point to this series.  They also have a pretty good overall story for each season and the whole series.  I wish more of the episodes were centric to the story, but I like it anyways.

Oh and I know of places to watch series.  I just don't have much time right now to watch it.

This new trailer better be worth it and give them some extra sells.

Wow! nice. They are targeting the right audience with this.
I hope they show the infected ones. Great job for the new marketing team.

Definitely a very smart move by Sony. Given how The Walking Dead has an insane amount of viewers, this kind of advertising will pay off massively. Perfect setting to throw this kind of commercial debut into. Well played Sony!
