Just like religion, Some people find it hard to have faith in a plastic box when they are nothing, but thin air. Why are people so hype over promises before they are realized? Ask yourself that.

Do you think Sony is lying and that the PS4 is an April Fools Joke, but not in April? I don't care if the box doesn't look so amazing, the games are what matters.

The religion analogy would match better if everyone heard a voice in their head saying "I'm gonna come back to earth in Fall 2013".

You think Sony is going to go to E3 and announce "Sorry the PS4 was all a lie, it doesn't actually exist" and walk off? The specs are pretty well set, the new policies and the support being gathered around PS4 so far is real, there's already running games on the prototype system, the only thing that's "thin air" at this point is the plastic box it comes in. That's the least important part of a console.
