Don’t you hate it when your smartphone falls into a boiling crock of stew?

We’re not sure the odds of this ever happening, but some folks on YouTube decided to give it a whirl with the water-resistant Xperia Z. They didn’t just toss the phone into boiling water, they tossed it into some sort of soup loaded with an assortment of vegetables. We have no idea why, but it’s actually pretty hilarious the way they add a few more veggies to the pot after the Xperia Z is tossed in. Spice it up, right? Humans baffle me sometimes.

After stirring the pot a few times to get the Xperia Z juices flowing, the videographer pulls it out and shows that the phone still works completely fine. Weird.

ill be getting this phone in a year or so when the price drops to a reasonable level. its just amazing

That would / will be the ultimate test of the war of the tough phones. Find a phone that won't blend, and that will be the ultimate winner, esp if he tries to make a fruit smoothie out of it.

same, at this price id rather buy the tablet

I think this will be my next phone. I make all sorts of stews and curries all the time and I always wished I had a phone that could survive being dropped into one. So this is perfect for me.

at that price ill just get a new laptop or pc
