I'm actually surprised it scored similar to GOW:A. Here I thought it was immune to prequel-itus because its a shooter but overall reviewers actually take it into account.

if "been done before" or "more of the same" is reason to downscore a title, we're all doomed, in 20 years time games will be scoring 4/10 at best lol.

Bahahaha that is great. Pretty much reflects my feelings on the series after the original. 

Still will play it in the summer months when nothing comes out. That said, I find most games get boring past the third one in each gen. From Cod, Halo, and gears give me something fresh.

That's because the person who reviews ascension was a random guy who apparently doesn't know how to rate a game and the person who reviewed gears was a huge fan of gears. Not fair but it's how the idiot game journalists work.

No, just because a person owns a 360 does not mean the person loves everything from it. Or the same for any platform for that matter.
