As far as Happy Wars goes you unlock the campaign by playing multiplayer. So if you are a silver member you won't be playing much of the Happy War's campaign until you level up in multiplayer and for you to do this you need XBL gold. You can do offline skirmishes though and training tutorials, but that's about it if you are a silver member.

But totally agree games on PSN+ are not free you are paying into a subscription to get Deals, get into Beta's and to get Arcade/Games. And it's a really great deal.

umm I think the issue here is having a free to play game behind a pay wall. Not sure where the confusion comes from. If there's F2P game behind a paywall on either psn/pc or anywhere else...by definition it's not a f2p game

ps: Just to clarify..F2P is the type of game....for example DCUO is a F2P game now

Is Happy Wars fun? I know very little about it. If it's worth my time I'll give it a tries since I have nothing to lose.

I don't understand this thread. What's the point???? PSN games aren't free. You are paying for them (via a subscription). I think you already know this, so I can't figure out the point of this.

You mean PS+ games?  Because I believe there are some F2P PSN games that you don't need any kind of subscription for.  Dust 514, I think, and that DC MMO.  And maybe Uncharted MP?  Not sure about that one.
